Champion Maintenance

This contractor uses sub contractors for framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and dry wall.  He does not oversee their work to make sure that it is being done right.  Doesn't comminciate much detail to them.  Did not keep close tabs on quality work or ask any questions regarding details.  I had to oversee every detail that was being done to make sure it was being done to my satisfaction.  There are numerous areas that should have been better constructed and finished (examples:laundry tub in cabinet and countertop was not level causing applied wall tile to not be leveled; bad finish on dry wall not observed until painting-had to hire someone to correct; shower area not constructed in square area for shower installation.  Many other issues too many to mention.  An 8x10ft addition took 9 months and all this time yard was trashed with foundation soil and debris.  Poor planning, time management, and poor job oversight.  Worked very few full days-would work for 2-3 hours and leave.  Didn't have materials purchased ahead of time-would stop at supplier daily and pick up materials.  I would not reccomend this contractor.
