RIPOFF!!! I followed all of their guidelines for prepping my home after seeing several roaches after receiving a used stove. The "exterminator" could not have known what she was doing. She sprayed SPARSELY throughout the apartment and only baited MESSILY in the kitchen. Then, said it was likely that I would need a second treatment.

Came up with a three month program, so far it's going well.

Last year dozens of flying ants came down the screens into the screen room addition we had built about five years ago. We sprayed them but when this year about 20 of them again came down the screens we took them to A 1 Able and found they were carpenter ants and were probably eating the wood and/or insulation in our screen room, We scheduled a free inspection and Chuck arrived as scheduled and spent almost an hour with us talking about the problem and treatment of it. We scheduled to have the room treated along with treatment around the foundation of our house for any other type of "invaders". It was likely the ants were mainly in the new addition though. Right on schedule a technician from A 1 Able came and treated the screen room and foundation of the house, telling us that if we saw ants, not to kill them because they would track the poison back to their nests. He spend a good deal of time explaining the process to us and treating the house and was very responsive to questions. We also contracted to have a 3 month followup for $95 to see if the problem is solved and were told to call if we saw any more swarming. We were impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness of all the people we dealt with at this business. ( Since then we have seen a few dead bodies, time will tell how effective the treatment is.)

They were always punctual. I didn't have to wait for hours like some other companies. Office staff were great to deal with. I had to reschedule some sprays because I like to be home to point out all the areas I expected to be treated. Spray times are generated from a central office and computerized. So I get a robotic call setting the date, which I could easily change by calling the local office.
I rated the price a C because the price I pay covers interior and exterior spray but I don't have the interior sprayed and they don't adjust the price. However, some of the national bug eliminator companies are much more expensive. Still, it would be nice to get some sort of price adjustment.
The guys that do the work were always pleasant.
There was only one application that I wasn't happy with because the worker was only here for a short amount of time and I knew from other service times that it took longer to do the house. Also, I was having problems with bees getting into the house from one particular bedroom window even after he left. I called the office and they sent someone else out to re-spray at no additional cost. He saw the bees' nest under the roof line and we didn't have any more problems with bees.

They showed up on time and did the work in a timely manner and it was effective.

The men were very professional and arrived on time and the whole process took about four hours. They were very neat and did not disturb any of the flowers that surrounded part of the foundation. All soil was smoothed down and you could not tell it had been disturbed. The cement patches done in the garage area were smoothed down and swept. Pieces of cork were used to replace the holes in the wood on the screened porch and the outdoor carpet was placed back down. Everything was very
professionally done.

Robert McGee came on 5-28-13 at appointed time to verify that it was carpenter bees that was the problem. He quoted a price for the treatment. We agreed that the problem needed to be taken care of as soon as possible. The office called within an hour with a time the technician could be there. Chad arrived promptly at our agreed time and treated all the areas that were to be treated. Both men were professional, friendly and prompt. I would recommend them to everyone who needs help with insects, etc.

I pay them $82 each time they come out. They were very good to work with. They came out anytime that I wanted them to do something extra and they did it willingly.
