He was awesome and even patently answered all my questions. He was very detailed and thorough. Really nice guy He cought everything, even the broken weight on a pocket door. We will definitely use him in the future if we buy another home.

Tim was incredibly good at what he does. He went through the house with a fine-toothed comb and found many issues that we were very relieved to know ahead of our purchase. From a worn power access line from the pole, to the drain pipe missing on the water heater and the breaker box being unlabeled, it easily felt like Tim was on our side and looking out for us!

I think he did a pretty good job. There were a few things that he missed or was confused about but my Realtor was able to find them or clear up the situation. Otherwise everything else was pretty good. He found a lot of things wrong with the house that I would have never seen. He also created a fantastic inspection report. It was professionally laid out and very thorough.

Tim is a very honest guy and very thorough in inspection. He noticed things that I did not notice. Report was very detailed.

Tim Shuler provided an excellent home inspection for us. He spent almost 3 hours checking out every aspect of the home and went over his findings with us immediately after. He then emailed us a copy of his report and followed it up with a written copy. Tim was very professional, prompt and efficient. He wrote up recommendations on every thing he found and provided pictures of all problem areas. I would highly recommend Horizon Home Inspections for anyone that needs a thorough home inspection.

Outstanding! Tim Shuler answered my initial call and provided me a comprehensive description of his services.  After describing the size and age of the home, Tim stated that he would need four hours to complete the inspection.  Other inspectors I called said they could complete it in only two hours -- I opted for the more hours.  
Tim arrived 10 minutes early the day of the inspection and was already at work when I arrived.  Starting with the exterior, he methodically worked his way through the home.  For the most part, Tim worked quietly by himself but several times he called me to highlight a particular concern.  Tim did take the full four hours and I believe this was necessary given the size and age of the home. In addition to the home inspection, I had time perform a radon test and check for termite and wood boring insect damage.
I have purchased several homes and am fairly skilled at home remodeling projects.  While Tim was performing his inspection, I performed my own.  When I received the complete inspection report, I was surprised to see several things that I missed myself. There was only one item that I found that Tim missed.  The last time I purchased a home, I found about a dozen issues which the inspector missed.  Overall, Tim performed what I believe a very comprehensive inspection and the final report was very professional.  I am very impressed with the thoroughness with which Tim completed this inspection and I would hire him again.
The one thing that went wrong was beyond Tim's control but he made a point of correcting it quickly.  His radon detector failed and he contacted another company to perform the radon test.  He then refunded me the $8 differential between his charge for radon testing and the other company's cost.  Needless to say, I was impressed with his honesty.

Tim showed up on time. Did a very thorough inspection. Tim was very professional, courteous, took care not to damage our hardwood floors with his ladder when he went into the attic space. We had contacted Terminex, they never responded, then we went on Networx.com and they sent me the names of 3 companies that do this type of work and only one responded saying they do not do termite inspections for home refinancing. I was at my wits end and kicking myself for not looking on Angie's List first. Tim responded to my email within 3 hours and we set a date for the inspection.  I would highly recommend Horizon Home Inspections for all your needs when it comes to pest control & inspections.

I called him on a Thursday afternoon and he was able to accommodate my schedule and got me in quickly. Did the inspection the following Monday evening. He was all over every inch of that house. Took tons of pics. Would recommend to anyone. Great job!!

Called last minute to see if he was available as I am on a time crunch with buying a new house! He came out the next morning I met him there about 2 hours after he had started the inspection he sat down and talked with my family and myself about the concerns he had thus far and explained what should be done to correct it. He answered any and all questions we had and told us we could stay around till the end to hear if anything needed done. About an hr later he was done showed us everything else he was concerned about. Gave me a nice binder with everything you need to know about owning a home and gave me a discount on the termite because I did a whole house inspection making my total $275.00 which by far was def the cheapest around! Later that evening i received an email with my inspection pics and details of it! I'm so glad I went with him!! Would recommend to any and everyone!
