"We fully respect home owners right to leave a review as a homeowner and keep us accountable as a company. However, we have discussed with (homeowner) and with the Better Business Bureau after your complaint there where it has been determined that there were many breaches of contract on the homeowners side. Regardless of these contract breaches, we worked diligently with the homeowner to complete their job swiftly and in a quality fashion. This job has been completed and would love share all the pictures of the completed work!"
"We would like to quickly add some further context regarding this project. This was a very interesting job to work on, we helped the client from design process to build! We were told many times by Client before even starting job that she did not have a lot of money for project. That being said, before signing contract, client tried to get us to even go lower than our initial estimate stating that she had other contractors over the days before and that they said we did not have to do certain things to complete the addition. During demolition when we opened up a wall, we realized that the wall which we were going to demo was the house’s main plumbing wall. Per our contract anytime we stumble upon anything that is not in the contract we must stop all work until we’ve written up and the homeowner agreed to a change order. That being said, after multiple attempts of bringing plumbers in and being as transparent as we could in showing the client all the plumber’s estimates, the client continued to say they were too highly priced. The last communication we had with the client was when we gave her two options: option one, accept the lowest-priced change order we have had at that time, including extremely reducing all overhead and company cost. Option two was that we would give her a full refund of the job. That being said, at client’s request, we canceled contract and proceeded to refund full amount. We as a company try our best to make a win-win-win for the customer, the subcontractor and for the our company. As a company dealing with this particular client was difficult, as she was very much so only interested in a win for herself. This being said we would’ve loved to continue the project for this client, but client did not want to pay what was necessary to start and complete project. I would encourage anyone with any questions about this project to reach out to us, as we work to be as honest and open as possible. Thank you!"
