Terrible!!! I would invite your viewers to visit the Better Business Bureau of Dayton's website to review the complaints listed, along with the Facebook page of the company. The current owner truly does make your project unique but there is nothing seamless and comfortable. The uniqueness that this company brings is you are provided a hands down bid with no further out of pocket expenses - it's solid - even if additional materials are needed. That is not true. The scope of the project was discussed including materials, finishing, etc. but according the contractor, these were 'favors' and costs were out of his pocket. The concrete he poured for the patio is terrible and he thinks we should pay him to fix it (see attached picture) ; he splattered concrete all over my front door and he thinks it is only dirt (see attached picture) even though he told us numerous times it is going to take muriatic acid to clean it. Why would I need muriatic acid to clean off dirt!. He can not obtain/get/keep subcontractors to perform the work. When subcontractors do arrive, they only worked a couple of hours a days maybe twice a week, and if they know you are home, they abruptly pick up and leave. Makes one wonder what they were hiding. When a subcontractor did show up to do the roof he arrived at 4:00 PM and worked until 9:00 PM - talk about unique! This contractor had more excuses for not getting the job done and would just laugh it off saying it's all good. Now, because the building department signed off on the project, he is done and we are left to fix and clean up his mistakes...it's not all good! This company is not a trusted local pro for any home project and customer satisfaction and professionalism is not their top priority.

"We fully respect home owners right to leave a review as a homeowner and keep us accountable as a company. However, we have discussed with (homeowner) and with the Better Business Bureau after your complaint there where it has been determined that there were many breaches of contract on the homeowners side. Regardless of these contract breaches, we worked diligently with the homeowner to complete their job swiftly and in a quality fashion. This job has been completed and would love share all the pictures of the completed work!"

From start to finish the job was done right! Nick Cruz met with us often and walked us through every stage. Nick was personally involved and quick to course correct when needed. We will definitely hire again for future projects!

All renovation work was completed as expected. Nick and his crew were very courteous, prompt, and diligent. Over all project management was as expected. As always, it is key to have a clear and concise layout of the exact project expectations, work details, etc. Nick's payment approach was very efficient, as he charged us for each step as costs were incurred. This was a collaborative effort; Easy Living Homes did the infrastructure changes requiring permits, drywall and key electrical work; I completed all tile, painting, and trim work.

I hired Easy Living to expand my laundry room into the garage. They removed one side of a wall to view the plumbing (left the mess of drywall). They looked for a plumber to do the job for over a month and still could not find one! After 32 days of excuse after excuse, I cancelled the contract. I was left with a mess!
Response from Easy Living Homes
"We would like to quickly add some further context regarding this project. This was a very interesting job to work on, we helped the client from design process to build! We were told many times by Client before even starting job that she did not have a lot of money for project. That being said, before signing contract, client tried to get us to even go lower than our initial estimate stating that she had other contractors over the days before and that they said we did not have to do certain things to complete the addition. During demolition when we opened up a wall, we realized that the wall which we were going to demo was the house’s main plumbing wall. Per our contract anytime we stumble upon anything that is not in the contract we must stop all work until we’ve written up and the homeowner agreed to a change order. That being said, after multiple attempts of bringing plumbers in and being as transparent as we could in showing the client all the plumber’s estimates, the client continued to say they were too highly priced. The last communication we had with the client was when we gave her two options: option one, accept the lowest-priced change order we have had at that time, including extremely reducing all overhead and company cost. Option two was that we would give her a full refund of the job. That being said, at client’s request, we canceled contract and proceeded to refund full amount. We as a company try our best to make a win-win-win for the customer, the subcontractor and for the our company. As a company dealing with this particular client was difficult, as she was very much so only interested in a win for herself. This being said we would’ve loved to continue the project for this client, but client did not want to pay what was necessary to start and complete project. I would encourage anyone with any questions about this project to reach out to us, as we work to be as honest and open as possible. Thank you!"

We have used them a couple of times. Nick, he such a good communicator, you don't have to worry about the project because whenever there are some changes, he would let you know. The price is very reasonable and they do good quality work. They also gave good advice and suggestions.

We couldn't be happier with the work done. They are more fairly priced for the great work they do and they are very customer oriented.
