I am very pleased with the work Earl did on restoring the operating system on my fairly new Lenova laptop. Earl was very helpful in attempting to troubleshoot my issue over the phone first. When we couldn't resolve the issue over the phone we made arrangements for him to work on my laptop. on a weekend. Earl had my laptop working and returned to me in less than one day. I would definitely use Earl again. He is extremely professional and provides quick turn around and excellent customer service.

Earl recommended that we not fix the computer,and to buy a new laptop instead. That the repair was not worth it. After we purchased the new laptop he returned and helped us Transfer all the files. Excellent fast service. Very fair price.

I have had VVE do a variety of things over the years to keep my computer working, at a reasonable cost. Earl knows a lot, and tells you right away if your job is not appropriate for him, or if it would cost more to fix it that to replace it. He has fixed my computer 5 or 6 times over the last 5 years. I have complete confidence in his opinion.

Earl diagnosed that the hard drive was corrupted. He took the computer to his lab and produced a mirror image of my hard drive onto a new hard drive and then did a thorough check of the new disk. The result is that my computer is now running as good as new.

Never was fixed properly

WONDERFUL !!! Earl was courteous, professional, and very effective. Picked up the computer and had it operational the next day - all bugs removed. We were back in business in 24 hours. Earl was prompt, and on time, and so helpful. We could not have asked for a better outcome or service.

Earl set up a wireless HP printer for my home office with no issues.  He tried his best to get my old HP LaserJet to work on Windows 10 but we both agreed that the printer could not support Windows 10.

He was responsive, on time, did great work and was pleasant.  Will definitely use him again! 

This was an excellent experience.  Earl is incredibly knowledgeable about computers and all related things, including printers.  He also is prompt and respectful.  He knows how to quickly access helpful resources (e.g., calling the manufacturer), and shows great patience in the process of installing equipment that can seem long and tiresome to most people.

I would not hesitate to call Earl again if I needed assistance.

1. Recovering files from old computer.  I had talked to the consultants at Office Max and they told me that the files were just plain lost forever. Earl took out the old computer disc and put it in another computer, so that he could make a copy of the files. He came to my house to pick up the old computer, and returned the next day with a flash drive, which he used to copy the files to my new computer. He charged the same amount that Office Max would have charged to TRY to do something. $75 for this job.

2. Set up Cable in my house.  My ATT service deteriorated as the price rose, and did not even work at  times.  Earl advised me that I could do better with Time Warner. He met me at the TW office, helped me sign up for a discounted service, advised me that it would be cheaper to buy the equipment myself and have him install it, rather than pay rent on the equipment. Later he came to my house and installed the equipment. I have had the service for about 3 months, and I save $20/month compared to ATT. The internet service is much faster (and always works)  and the land phone-line works fine. $100 for this job.

Earl is punctual, professional and makes an effort to help you get the job done!!  Also, he does not take a lot of time on things -- for example, returning with the flash drive the next day. I recommend him highly.
