While moving bedroom furniture from one room to another I somehow twisted the bed and caused the pins in the sideboards to loosen and fall out, thus making it impossible for the sideboards to remain locked in place in the footboard. I found it impossible to replace them and went to Angie's list for help. I found "Mann's Furniture Repair" on Angie's list and called him to explain my problem. He explained what would be done and gave me his estimated cost. We arranged for me to take the pieces to his home workshop. When I did so he told me it would be about 2 weeks for him to complete the work. In exactly two weeks he called and I went to pick up the pieces. While leaving, another problem arose and I left the piece with Phil for another week. I picked up the last of 3 pieces, went home and quickly reassembled the bed. The pieces look great and fit together the way they are supposed to fit together. A fine job!

The work was very good. We did have to call a few times because things were not done when he said they would be done. When we called he said 1 we could pick-up & the other would take more time. He said he would call when it was ready, he did not. We called him and he then said it was ready and went & got it.

Phil was very responsive when contacted. He came out to our house, looked the furniture over, and gave us a great estimate. We decided to have the work done. Phil and one of his staff came and, with great care picked up our furniture. They stripped it and called us back to come to his shop for a consultation on the color. We chose a stain and work proceeded. Phil was very conscientious about keeping us abreast of the progress of the work. He even had us out to his shop again to inspect one the chairs in order to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted. When it was time to return the furniture, Phil and his another one of his staff dropped it off (all of it very carefully wrapped to avoid damage) and reassembled it in out home. The results greatly exceeded our expectations the finish looks awesome! I'd recommend Mann's Furniture Repair in a heartbeat why go buy new when you can restore the old to better-than-new condition!

I am disappointed that the pieces they worked on were returned looking more red than the existing cabinets. It is obvious that they are different. Also it took much longer than they estimated. It was hard to keep the toddlers away from cleaning supplies and glassware without doors to cover. That made it hard to use the kitchen when they were around.

Phil is the owner. He came out and did the work. He had to fill a dent, and he also matched the color of the finish perfectly. He did such a good job, I can't even tell it was ever damaged. I don't know about price because the people who damaged the table paid for it.
