Had them do the Spring cleanup.  Initially their response was slow and not effective at all.  Finally three guys came for the spring cleanup more than one month after the time of estimate, done everything except mulching.  Quality?  awful trimming - only trim around the bush but not the top; blown leaves toward the backyard not as I told to be collected curbside in the front yard.  I had to ask them to redo.  This took extra time and they charged me extra.  
When asked for mulching, I was told that I had to wait for another month.  Then I contacted the landscaping Inc. which my neighbor uses.  They accommodated my request within one day.  Of course I terminated the service with JI Landscaping.  Then ridiculous things happened.  First they didn't give me the promised 10% discount for the finished service in spring clean-up.  Second, John, the business owner, threatened to sue me saying there was a "verbal contract"  between him and I that I had to use them to conduct the weekly maintenance till the year end.  I only had him give me estimate for the spring clean-up as well as the weekly maintenance.  I didn't sign anything, and there was no any contract at all.  Verbal contract?  Never heard of!
Btw, one more fact for your entertaining - JI landscaping has a website in which there is a photo gallery - http://www.jilandscaping.com/photo-gallery/     .  Pictures there are fake - flowers are cooked by photoshop-like software.  They are fairly easy to see, and I cannot help laughing in spite that I was irritated with its service ...   Nevertheless, inside and outside JI is cheating!
