From Start to Finish this was a GREAT EXPERIENCE! Andrew contacted me immediately after I purchased the and quot;Big Dealand quot; coupons...He soon came out to see the job, and told me what would be required to finish it. Due to painting issues on my part (painters were unreliable), he had to wait to complete the contract...but he waited patiently, and checked in regularly to see our progress. I find a big part of customer satisfaction is GOOD COMMUNICATION, and ELIA CONSTRUCTION excelled in this area. When my special order wood came in, and the painting was finished...Andrew made himself available within 48 hours...He came promptly at 8am, and (with his Nephew) worked throughout the next few days. They were both such nice gentlemen, and professionals. I would not hesitate to use them again, and cannot RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY ENOUGH!
Description of Work: We had a bathroom and basement remodel job...including a built-in wall to window seat/storage chest. Originally, we had hired a contractor that started the job, then he had personal "issues" and left us high and dry. The basement needed to be finished and BOY!! were we LUCKY to have found Andrew and his team! This is basically what needed to be done: The bathroom just had dry wall up, and needed to be "mudded", and Andrew recommended his Nephew who did a fabulous job...quick and professional. The bathroom had the plumbing done, but needed to have the tub fixtures put in, the sink and fixtures put in, and the toilet put in. Additionally, two shelves needed to be built and all the baseboards needed to be put in, along with the door moldings. Also, the outlets needed work, and the bathroom light need to be affixed...as well as the little things like the towel rack, paper holder, and switch plates. The playroom needed to have ALL the baseboards and molding put in, the stairs needed the risers attached, and two 8 ft bannisters on each side of the stairs (for my special needs child). The big problem in the room was that the previous worker had started the window seat/storage chest, but used inferior products. Andrew immediately diagnosed the problem with the chest and showed me pictures of similar work he had completed. By now, I trusted Andrew completely to do a great job. He brought in new birch wood to finish the top, and affixed cherry stained, white pine plyboard I had purchased to the front. Then he used molding I had bought to match the plyboard and made the work look "finished"...something I would not have thought to do, but glad he did...IT LOOKS FABULOUS. Added to that, he put in safety hinges for my children, who are going to use this seat as a toy box as well. Additionally, the little touches were seen to...new ceiling registers were added, my white board for the kids was attached to the wall, and two child gates went in to insure their safety. Then, they vacuumed and cleaned the area....not always a given with construction projects. This all took only 2 days, and the work was handled quickly, efficiently, & pleasantly. AND IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL...the boys are already playing in their new room and bathroom..thanks Andrew and ELIA CONSTRUCTION
