The man who came to do a routine check for air conditioning came and was rude from the second he came to our house. I don't know if he was having a bad day but he threw his cigarette in our yard and didn't bother to take of his shoes or put on the booties contractors usually put on, tracking in dirt I later cleaned myself. He then shouted at my husband and cursed at him using the F-word because my husband said he didn't want to pay for a service when he was very rude to him. It was the worst service and I would never recommend the. Also I would never recommend U.S Home Protective Association for home warranty services because when I called to complain about the awful and unprofessional attitude from the contractor he said he would give me a full refund, but instead gave me a nasty letter and only $25 because he "changed his mind" even though he never called the contractors when I complained about it in the first place. I was so appalled by the way I was treated and no one even offered an apology or anything, just took the money.

We could not be happier with the help they provided. After several hours of work they were able to resolve the problem and were very sensitive to the situaion with my father's terminal illness. They charge us a very reasonable fee and removed not just the problem from the plumbing but the stress everyone was under. Know this, my father passed away that night around midnight. We know he, along with the entire family is very grateful for your company's level of expterise and sensitvity to the situation. We would recommend D & T Home Heating for any future work you may need and our thanks to your family.

Tom was able to come out promptly and fix the problem. He arrived on time and completed the job. I was under a tight time frame because I was selling my home so I appreciated that. This was warranty work so I only paid a $100.00 deducible but his regular rates were fair.
The only thing i would note is that he doesn't use the internet to conduct business which made it difficult to communicate with him.
I left messages several times and he would call me back from a phone but did not leave his number and to didn't show up on my phone.
Other than that, everything was great!

This company was great. Tom Owens the owner, called back after the holidays. They called before they came and arrived within the hour. He did a check-up and notified me that I may need a new furnace in the future. He didn't try and scare me into buying one now.

SOMEONE ELSE SAID WE HAD TO REPLACE THE FURNACE BUT HIS APPROACH WAS TO REPLACE THE AFFECTED PART - A MORE COST-EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE.
