He's excellent! I'm so glad I was able to find a reputable Slate roof contractor. He's always great about answering when I called, or calling  back promptly. He's always on time, and I really appreciate it. It's hard to find roofers in the area who will call back and show up on time. He's one of the biggest competitors in the area, and I love the work he does.

Gabor and Cleveland Slate & Copper are experts in working with tile, slate and copper roofs.  They are not cheap but they are an extremely good value.  They arrived when the were scheduled and finished the work promptly and expertly.  I would recommend them to anyone needing work done on tile, slate and copper roofs.

This is the third time we have had them do work on our roof. They are not the cheapest in town, but they as far as we are concerned the best we have had. They are the most perfect. They take photographs before, during and after, so you can actually see what they are up on the roof doing. They are quite responsive when we have a problem, like a leaking roof in the middle of winter. We had about three years earlier another section of the roof have a problem and they literally came out when there was ice and snow, and it was dripping and ruining my kids rooms, my piano had come in while we were out of home and we did not want it to come any further and ruin the floor underneath. Luckily it just fell on our piano and most of it dripped onto it and was absorbed by it. I like there explanation of what they believe the problem to be, what they intend to do about it and very specifically documenting the problem areas with photos. They get up there and they take pictures and you can see what they see and why do they think that is where the problem lies. They are knowledgeable. For calling them up you have to leave a message because they are hands-on. They do not have a separate operator, so you have to leave a message but they do call you back pretty promptly. They try to come out when it is a convenient time for you and them, but they keep you informed if there is any delay.

It was a good experience. They came prepared to do an estimate. They brought ladders with them, went up on the roof and took photos that they brought down to show me. They prepared an estimate on the spot. They arrived when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves, and left when they said they would. They also took photos during the process and after the job was completed to show me.

Mr. Olah and his crew really know how to repair and preserve a slate roof. My home inspector admired the quality of their work. They are dependable and I am happy to have found this company. I could have installed asphalt or fiberglass shingles but there is nothing like real slate stone shingles for longevity.
