 + -1 moreUPON DELIVERY OF THE 2 SETS, THE ONE TABLE WAS SCRATCHED JUST LIKE THE FLOOR MODEL. TABLE WAS REFUSED AND DELIVERY MAN CONTACTED THE OWNER. HE SAID THAT IN ALL HONESTY THAT IT IS A CHILD'S TABLE AND IT WILL GET SCRATCHED. I EXPLAINED THAT AT THE TIME OF THE ORDER, I DID NOT WANT THE SCRATCHED TABLE. I UNDERSTOOD THAT THE TABLE WOULD NOT BE IN PRESTINE SHAPE IN A FEW YEARS, BUT THE FACT IS A NEW TABLE, NOT A SCRATCH AND DENT, WAS PURCHASED. I AGREED TO HAVE TABLE REFINISHED. IT TOOK 2 FOLLOW-UP PHONE CALLS TO FIND OUT WHEN TABLE WOULD BE DELIVERED. WHEN I WAS ABLE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE, I WAS TOLD THAT THE FOLLOWING MON. OR TUES. THE TABLE COULD BE DELIVERED BECAUSE HE WAS TRYING TO TIE MY SHIPMENT IN ALONG WITH OTHERS IN THE NORTHERN OHIO AREA. I NEVER RECEIVED CONFIRMATION WHEN THE DELIVERY WOULD TAKE PLACE. AFTER A UNPROFESSIONAL CONVERSATION, THE TABLE WAS DELIVERED. THE QUALITY IS SUPERB, BUT RESPONSIVENESS IS AWFUL. ONE MAY BE ABLE TO OVERLOOK RESPONSIVENESS FOR QUALITY.
Description of Work: PURCHASED (2) OAK CHILD'S TABLE AND CHAIR SET. NONE WERE IN STOCK, EXCEPT FOR THE SCRATCHED FLOOR MODEL. REQUESTED THAT 2 SETS (EACH SET CONSISTED OF 1 TABLE AND 2 CHAIRS) BE MADE. NO DISCOUNT WOULD BE MADE FOR THE SCRATCHED TABLE, SO I STATED THAT I DID NOT WANT THE SCRATCHED TABLE. TWO MONTHS LATER RECEIVED A CALL THAT THEY WERE READY.
