Menards Inc

We purchased a chair that was last one, so display model. Sales person said they would get it ready for us to pick up. I expected it to be put I a box or bubble wrap or something. They brought it out with nothing. Pictures posted on my facebook page. Girl who brought it out offered to bring us some card board if WE wanted to cover it. I insisted on talking to Manager. Dave the Manager came out and I told him this was unacceptable customer service. He offered us to return it if we liked and this is "the way the did it, etc". I told him I wanted it covered. He took it back inside, had it bubble wrapped. The young lady helped my husband load it. Now my husband Jim Joyce and I are in our 60s, we spend alot of money on a regular bases at this store. Dave the manager could have helped load it, but he wasn't seen again. Very poor customer service.

The thing I like best about Menards is they give me back 2% at the end of the year for everything I buy for my business. They run a lot of specials throughout the year and a lot of rebates. I love when they do the 11% rebates which they do very often. They deliver to job site when needed for free if the purchase is over $1,000.00. I use them and Lowes a lot. I go where the better deal is and a lot of times it is Menards.

Minimal charge for cutting the pipe and uniquely had patio stone leveling compound that others did not in big basket chain hardware stores. also had 70 pound specialty carry out sand bags for pickup trucks/rear drive vehicles in winter Little hard to find some items but not familiar with store. Staff helpful and great selection! good website for store info.
