LAPOS CONSTRUCTION INC

. When we initially spoke with Mr. Lapos we were looking for a home with a first floor master, which is a medical necessity for me. We made it perfectly clear that we must have consistent hardwood floor (not engineered) on the main level for the use of my wheelchair. He agreed to build a home for us that he already had plans for and said he could deliver it at $530,000 and toke our $2,000 lot deposit. In addition the home costing $530,000 was to include all the upgrades you would expect in a home of this price. The day after taking our $2,000 deposit that was suppose to hold the lot for 2 weeks he called demanding an addition $8,000 and my husband wrote the check. After finally getting the information and doing some research of our own it became apparent that Mr. Lapos could not deliver the agreed upon home at the agreed upon price. I had already told Mr. Lapos before he sent the email about the lumbar increases that we could not move forward with this contract. I believe this was a trap. We did not signed a contract
