All we knew when we first went to Mark was that we wanted to make our formal living room space more functional, and that we thought it would be most functional as a library. Using our very rough ideas, Mark came up with an awesome design that tastefully holds our books, as well as integrates a handy window seat and flexible, concealed storage space beneath. He had a great eye for what would work for our space, as well as the education and experience to know which materials and construction choices would be best for this project. Mark's very much a family man, too, so as he worked out the design, he helped us keep the needs and interests of our young children in mind.
Mark is extremely professional. He was great about communicating with us on his progress and the project timeline (he kept to it with no problems), stayed exactly within budget, and kept the construction space tidy. From the time the first piece was installed to when the last coat of paint went on, we could tell that Mark's workmanship is second to none. Midway through the project, I already started gathering ideas for the next idea I want to spring on him! My husband and I cannot recommend Mark strongly enough and look forward to hiring him again in the future!

Mark did an excellent job. He was professional, hard working and detail oriented. The work required a lot of expertise as it is an old building with uneven floors and odd shapes. He removed all the old floor trim, leveled the floor and installed new trim. I felt very confident in his judgement. The quality of his work was excellent. The work took over a month but he was there almost every week day as he dedicated himself to one job instead of dividing time between various commitments. Highly recommend.
