I can’t say that I had a good experience with them. I was just on phone with them, they broke my window and my china closet and they replaced it but when they came to put it back in, they forgot to put the rubber part around it, so I have to get somebody in to fix it. They said they could move my piano and it is in a bad shape now. I should have had piano movers do the job. I will never use them again. They are reasonably priced but just like the name, it is just two men and a truck. They men are not properly trained. They dented my refrigerator and they did nothing. They were punctual, I will give them that. They had eighteen fleets of steps to go down and that is how it happened and they weren’t careful when they put it in the truck. I did not get the impression they really knew what they were doing. The stuff that I packed got here safe and sound and the stuff that they packed didn’t. I definitely don’t want to use them again. For what they did, the quality is bad and they charge too much for the quality they didn’t do.

I believe there are different locations and various crews. We used the Tylersville location and had an A-team working with us!

It didn't go well. The team we had seemed inexperienced. When I called to set up service, I stressed that the home we were moving into was newly remodeled—new walls, paint, newly refinished hardwood floors. We also let the moving crew know this when they came to get started. The team we had were not careful with our things—my brand new walls now have gouges all over, and my hardwood has long scratches in many rooms where they dragged furniture across it. My stainless refrigerator has paint all over the front from bashing it into the front door, and other furniture also has paint marks from being slammed into the walls.
Our past experience with movers, both with Two Men and a Truck and other companies, is that the guys will bend over backward to do anything to help our move go well—these guys were not that way. They seemed to want to get done and get out, and seemed irritated by anything heavy or awkward. We had boxes and other items we wanted them to take, but they told us the truck was and quot;fulland quot;—it was maybe 2/3 full, and only because it wasn't well packed. As a result, we've had to make a lot of extra trips hauling boxes and other items that could have gone on the truck. I wish I'd used another company—this move left me with a much lower opinion of Two Men and a Truck than I had previously. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

The three movers who performed the work (moving furniture around in my house) were courteous, punctual, and worked very quickly. They were careful with my belongings and very efficient. It was all I could have expected from a moving company. I checked with other moving companies, and the rates this company charged were slightly better. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I got a call the morning of the move from one of the movers asking if they could come early. That wasn't very convenient for me, but the guy was very insistent and I thought, well, what the heck, let's get this done sooner. However, inexplicably, it took them close to an hour to arrive after that conversation.
Whe they arrived, one guy went through the terms and conditions with me and told me the minimum charge was $240. They then proceeded to put my belongings in the truck. One of the men did most of the work (and complained the whole time), while the other one just stood in the truck and arranged the things in there (at the end I realized he was really just sliding the furniture inside the truck, instead of picking it up). Also, the previous time I had used Two Men and a Truck (different office), those movers had wrapped some of the furniture to protect it (not this time).
At the new house, they unloaded and then the same guy that had gone over the terms and conditions gave me the final price. He actually pretended it was 15 minutes tlater han it really was to justify charging me more! When he was unable to continue this farse, he then said the minimum was $360 anyway because it was Friday. On all their paperwork it said the minimum was $240. This guy was getting a little aggressive, so I decided to pay the $360 and then figure it out with the office.
Upon calling the Ridge Ave. office, it was explained to me that indeed, $360 is the minimum on Fridays (again, nowhere on the paperwork I have is this stated). In addition, the young man I spoke to made sure to make it sound like the confusion was my fault because I had and quot;re-scheduled.and quot; This is false, I originally requested a quote to move on a Monday, but had not scheduled anything (there is a difference between getting a quote and ordering something). He did apologize that the price had not been communicated clearly to me, but there was no way he was taking that charge off my credit card.
After the move, I noticed that a futon, a nightstand and a coffee table had all been scratched. I called and put in a damage claim. After about four weeks of nothing happening, I called again (actually had to call twice), and a supervisor told me and quot;the vendorand quot; would call me soon. The vendor turned out to be a gentleman from some furniture repair shop in Dayton who left me a voice mail asking me to call him after business hours because he was busy with customers (really, so, what would I be to him, then?).
Overall, lousy experience. I'm sorry that I didn't just stand firm the day of the move and refuse to pay the $360.

There are two locations for this one franchise, one on Tylersville Rd and one on Ridge Rd.
I called the Tylersville Rd location to arrange the move. I stopped by the Tylersville location later and bought 20 of their boxes, which were fully refundable. At that location they told me the move was being scheduled out of the Ridge Rd location because it would be less charged travel time to me. Later I bought mattress covers from the Ridge Rd location.
The moving part went fine on Nov 4, 2013. The refund for the unused purchased boxes is not resolved yet.
On moving day 3 men showed up on time and worked hard and efficiently. The truck was loaded, driven to the new house and unloaded quickly. The unloading to the new house was much more difficult due to steps, tight spaces, multiple turns. I tipped them $150 and it was well deserved.
A week later on Nov 11 on my way to the Two Men office, I called the franchise and talked to Sandy about returning the unused boxes and mattress covers. She stated I would get a full refund.
When I arrived at the Ridge Rd location and returned the items, they couldn't give me a refund. I was told that Dayton had to approve it and so I kept the items at the office and left. The next day on Nov 12 my card was credited for the mattress cover but not the boxes.
If I get the refund for the 5 boxes ($15 + tax) I'll reflect that in an improved rating.
As of today I recommend using this franchise for moving, but cannot recommend purchasing boxes from them.

I would never recommend this company to anyone! They scratched several pieces of furniture, broke an armoire, marked up my walls and broke the faucet to the washer which leaked in the house I was moving from. Also, they quoted me 3-4 hours and it turned into 5-6 which was more costly than they said it would be. I had heard bad stories about them from others but my realtor recommended them so I went ahead and used them, big mistake!

I used the Two Men and A Truck in Sharonville (just to clarify since there seem to be several locations in Cincinnati)
2300 E Kemper Road B4Sharonville, OH 45241Phone 513-769-6683
Meagan in the office was extremely professional and great to work with leading up to the move. Movers came early (approximately a half hour) which was EXCELLENT for me because we were hoping to get finished as early as possible. They worked the entire time and did not stop to take smoke breaks every fifteen minutes (like previous companies I had used) They were friendly and professional. The thing I was most impressed with was that they very carefully wrapped every piece of furniture and did not charge extra. One hiccup, I had asked for mattress covers when I spoke with the office to set up the move and somewhere that was lost in translation. Our movers had no problem accomodating me with mattress covers even though they hadn't been informed I had asked for them. In the middle of the move, a representative from the office called to make sure I was satisfied with the service and asked if everything was going well. The movers were fast and attentive and the move finished well ahead of the estimated time (such a money saver!) They were very willing to place furniture exactly where we wanted it and even helped us move a dresser when we decided it looked better in another location. Overall, I was very pleased with this move and will never go with another company again!

They ran the truck off the driveway and they still have not fixed the damage and it has been over a month. They promised me this week so I have to see if they come. The move itself was fine and the guys who moved it were fine. It was just that something happened and they did not fix it.

They tried to charge me more than the original agreement. They honored the original price, but if I hadn't been smart and written the price in I would have been out of luck. We had to rent another truck ourselves because they didn't fill up the trucks all the way. We labeled every box, but they disregarded these labels when placing the boxes in our new house. They also walked across my bookcase and left footprints and broke the shelf. They lost pegs for my coffee table, knicked a sideboard and placed heavy boxes on top of boxes marked fragile.

See above. I was deeply dissatisfied with one of the mover comment and actions. He was lazy and you could tell by hisnpartners actions that he was also unhappy working with him and listening to his complaints. I wii think long and had before I use this Two Men and Truck location. Even though I was dissatisfied both were give a generous tip, but only one of them was deserving!

We needed to get my daughter moved within one week. I was frantic. Three young men from Two Men and a Truck arrived a little before our appointment time and went to work right away. They didn't stop until the job was completed. They were polite and professional. The furniture was handled with care. It was wrapped and covered and I could tell the movers were experienced by the way they manuevered the furniture through turns and doorways. Not once did the fuurniture hit a wall or doorway. It was all done quickly and efficiently. Time is money in this business because they charge by the hour and my money was very well spent. Great job Two Men and a Truck!!!

I found the assistance of the service manager to be very helpful in understanding how this process worked. What I did not know beforehand is that travel time BACK to the dispatch point is billed, but it makes sense to be fair to all who use their service. On the day of the move, they were delayed in getting started, but I received a phone call explaining the situation and we actually had a bonus person (Three men and a truck) to minimize future delays. The bill came in right at the high end of the estimate. My wife was very pleased with the service.
