We were looking for a contractor to manage a small remodel in the master bath, primarily to replace the current countertops with a quality granite. Peyton Kitchen and Bath was recommended by a friend who was having their kitchen redone and who gave Dave high marks for the overall experience of that job.
David met with us to understand what we wanted and what the scope of the job was. He gave us a rough idea of what was involved but as the major cost was the materials (granite), he would provide a precise estimate once we had chosen the granite but before purchasing it or starting any work. David made the arrangements to look at and select a granite slab, met us there, and helped pick out the slab. We picked out the sink and faucet following the granite selection. With all this information David was able to provide us with a detailed quote which we accepted.
David's workers removed the existing countertops and the plate glass mirrors in preparation for the granite company to come and make the accurate measurements to cut the granite. Following this, he went with us to ensure the proposed cuts in the granite captured the features in the slab we wanted. The granite was installed by the granite company and the following day, David's workers finished installing the sinks, faucets, and ventilation fans. The mirror replacement was scheduled the following day but the mirror company made a small error in measuring so they had to re-cut a new piece and came back in a few days to install. In addition to the major work, David did a few other small jobs at the same time.
Overall a great experience. Our bathroom was only not usable for a couple of days as things were well scheduled. David managed the entire process, including the few issues. He was great to work with and we would definitely use him again.
