Norton Flooring

The project took longer than it should have, do to the fact that the installer kept leaving to go to other jobs he had going at the same time. We were never sure when he was coming back. Usually had to call to find out. There were a couple things that he said he would come back to finish that we ended up doing ourselves because again never heard from anyone and the holidays were around the corner. Did not put up any plastic or drapes when sanding so furniture, carpets etc. were very dusty.

I, recently, had been looking to replace carpeting throughout my entire house. I received a quote from a well-known company (not to be mentioned here) for $13,000. While I was having my upholstery cleaned the gentleman doing the cleaning told me about a company (Norton Flooring) that he recommends and they will beat my quote easily. My wife and I stopped by their showroom just to see what they had to offer. We spoke to Steve A. and was really surprised with their prices. Steve came out to the house to measure. The quote he gave me was for $6300. This includes an upgrade to the best padding they have as well as installation and the carpeting was basically the same as the other company. Steve was a true pleasure to work with. I requested installation to take place over two days as I had a lot of furniture to move. They were very accommodating. On installation day Adam, Don and Avery showed up on time and installed with perfection. At the end of the first day of installation the crew even moved my heavier furniture back in place. It was a truly pleasure working with Norton Flooring. If I ever have a need for replacing any type of flooring I will without a doubt work with Norton Flooring (10185 McCauly Rd – (513) 860-9800). I have already recommended Norton to four of my friends that are in process of replacing their flooring. I would recommend Norton Flooring to anyone. Please check them out before you commit to any other company. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Don't waste your money! I wish I had not trusted Norton Flooring's false claims of superior, high-quality work. Norton Flooring horribly scratched my maple floors, stained them in an inconsistent manner, missed a focal point altogether, and REFUSE to fix their many careless mistakes. The $3800 down payment pales in comparison to the damage, stress, and heartache Norton Flooring has forced us to pay against our wishes. Norton Flooring continues to publicly misconstrue my expectations as their customer. Norton Flooring did NOT offer to fix their numerous mistakes. The job is incomplete, leaving us in a further bind. Norton Flooring had a "take it or leave it" response to our concerns. Our preference was to have Norton Flooring refinish the floors to remedy the extensive damage, NOT to have a discount. Norton Flooring does not espouse accountable practices, nor are they appreciative of their customers-as illustrated by your insults to my review. Norton Flooring caused damage to my floors and when I asked for them to fix their careless mistakes, Norton Flooring told me I was nit-picking. Buyer beware! It's a shame that my family's trust in Norton Flooring continues to be betrayed. Our critique of Norton Flooring is based on our negative experiences. It is my hope that my candid review will bring resolution to our troubling experiences with Norton Flooring, who wrongfully damaged our hardwood floors and refused to fix their mistakes. Moreover, our consumer privacy has been compromised by Norton Flooring's offer to divulge our personal business communications via private message to prospective clients. This breach of trust is unethical and irresponsible and exemplifies the poor customer experience we had when we hired Norton Flooring. Based on my family's experiences with Norton Flooring, we can attest that they operate with unethical business practices and unaccountable behavior, which pose a danger to consumers such as myself. Prospective customers should view my critical review as an honest account of my actual experiences, and as my warning to steer clear of Norton Flooring.

It went well enough, until I pointed out the gouge they had  made in the wall. They were apologetic; said someone from their company would call to find a time to have it repaired. Someone did call me; asked when they could come to fix it. I declined the repair because I didn't want to have to bend my schedule out of shape to sit around waiting for a repairman. I said I could do it myself. He gave me a number to call if I changed my mind. I was pleased at the way the situation was handled, though not pleased that it happened in the first place!

It went really well.  I cannot hear so the providers did a great job figuring out how to communicate with me as we do business.  Thumbs up.

We needed to replace all of the flooring in a condo before we put it up for sale; we were on a budget and (naively, it turns out) assumed that the big home improvement stores would have the best price.  After growing frustrated with Home Depot's responsiveness and becoming concerned with their ability to do a good job on the install, we started seeking out estimates from local businesses.  We got estimates from several businesses, and Norton Flooring beat them all.  We were very pleased with everyone's responsiveness - calls/emails were always returned promptly and we were confident that the job would be done right.
We couldn't be happier with how the project turned out.  We would absolutely use Norton for any future flooring projects.  Everything looked great, was done promptly, and the work was done under our budget.

Erica (owner) and Don (installer) were a pleasure to work with. Erica worked with me on a very tight time schedule to get carpet & padding installed in a room for us. Don came out to measure and brought samples for us to choose from. They kept it exactly at the price we were quoted (which was even better with an Angie's List deal) - and showed up on time and performed the work perfectly.
We will definitely call Erica the next time we need carpet and will pass their name on to any friends or family that have a need for carpet. A+

Norton was wonderful in fitting me in VERY last minute when I requested someone to have my carpet re-stretched prior to moving in to my home.   I appreciated their willingness to work with my tight schedule and do a great job. Thanks!

Right from the time I sent a service request, Norton Flooring was so prompt in returning phonecalls & emails. A technician came home in less than 2 hours, gave me a complete estimate just like I wanted it. The work was scheduled with no hassles at all & all work was done timely & very professionally. Norton Flooring will be the only people I will trust with any work I would need in the future & will definitely recommend them to friends & family.

I appreciated their responsiveness to my last-minute request to get the carpets re stretched.  We were on a specific and tight timeline because of our move-in date.  They were able to fit me in and did a great job.  I would use them again.

They were friendly & knowledgeable. They moved all the furniture out and back into all the room. Our carpet is 13 years old and now the carpet looks terrific. Adam guaranteed that the carpet would not need to be re-stretched by saying he would come back out and fix any future wrinkle. Thanks Nortons! I will be recommending you to my family and friends.
