Ward Heating and Cooling offers a maintenance program, sending notification when your furnace/air conditioner requires a maintenance check. Appointments can be made by e-mail or phone…they are very accommodating to those with busy work schedules! Nate Ward arrived right on time (they always do!) and quickly went to work. Their work is always efficient and they do so in a friendly and professional manner. I have had Rich and Nate Ward install a new furnace as well as the air conditioning unit; they answered all my questions and gave me the piece of mind that I could depend on my home to be warm/cool throughout the years. I highly recommend them!

Dick has been working for us almost 15 years and we would highly recommend him. He checks the air conditioner in the spring and makes sure that the coolant levels are up and then he comes out in the fall and checks the furnace filters. We are very pleased and he is reasonable. He is a very personable and helpful person. I have neighbors that have used him and they really like him.

They are excellent. They are fantastic. I was impressed because he didn't go to lunch when he was doing the installation; he actually brought his lunchbox and sat on my front porch and had his lunch and then got back to work. He was polite and didn't use filthy language. It is a mom and pop operation. Senior citizens recommended them.

Dick Ward is exceptionally professional and customer-oriented individual, which is complemented by the fact that is truly a heating and cooling subject matter expert. Dick Ward is also exceptionally trustworthy, punctual and his pricing is very competitive. Dick’s attention to detail is the embodiment of the phrase “going the extra mile.” All the while, Dick will time and again propose a solution that is not a “gold-plated” solution that pads a profit.

These very qualities are why we have used Ward Heating and Cooling for the installation of our furnace and air conditioner in our previous home and also in our recent home. We also use Ward Heating and Cooling for duct cleaning and complete annual service of both systems.

I will also add that if anything at all goes wrong with anything, Dick Ward will soon be pulling in your driveway to address your concerns.

This was a competitively bid job based on my scope-of-work package provided to five (5) contractors. I had limited my search to contractors who supplied either Trane or American Standard equipment. In our pre-bid discussions, Rich Ward addressed all my items, offered helpful suggestions and provided options and alternates. His bid specifically listed the items and also included the costs for the discussed options. When evaluating Ward's proposal against the other contractors, I was more certain that I would receive the system I wanted through Ward. And their price was competitive.
The work was performed in a timely and first-rate professional manner. The new return air ducting was custom fabricated to accommodate the electronic air cleaner. The hot water heater was moved to allow for the new ducting. The grade alongside the house was reworked to accommodate the HVAC condensing unit.
I was pleased when the City of Medina inspector commented (several times) on the quality of the entire installation.
Following the gas line hookup, Ward came out promptly for furnace startup and my orientation. Ward also came out promptly to charge the AC system when it was suitably warm to do so.
This was a very satisfying contractor experience.

Our original heating and cooling system installed by our builder failed prematurly (10yrs), we contacted Ward and they replaced our entire HVAC system. We found them to be competitivly priced and their service and quality second to none.

We called Ward Heating for a check up on our 20+ old gas furnace. He called before arrival and was punctual. It passed just fine, but because of the rebate available for 2010 we had them quote us a new furnace. We received our quote, but about 4 days later we heard a loud "crashing fan" noise coming from the funace. My husband turned the furnace off and we called Ward Heating; he came right away. He said the furnace needed to be replaced and because of how cold it was outside he wanted to do it right away. He called a good customer of his whose furnace he was replacing with the one he quoted us. The customer was pleased to help him out and the new furnace was put in that day. I can't thank both Ward Heating and his loyal customer enough. It was VERY cold and they really helped us out in a tight spot. The owner was the service technician for us, and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and quick at his work. Whatever he promised us he delivered on. We were very pleased with his service, responsiveness and impressed by his customers' loyalty. We definitely recommend Ward Heating as a reputable and dependable service. We will definitely be using him in the future.

When Richard Ward came out to give me an estimate, he came prepared with information on the American Standard line of equipment, plus a whole binder full of photos of his previous jobs and customer testimonials. I was impressed that he didn't require a deposit or anything up front. His quote included replacement of the outdoor unit (condensor) plus the platform, indoor coil with a modular "case coil" and line set, plus all labor, drain plumbing, and misc parts. There was an incident during installation that caused some cosmetic damage but Richard followed through as promised with a replacement part. Richard also alerted me to an issue with water entering my electrical panel that could have been a real danger had he not noticed or notified me.

Very good work! Prior to beginning they came to the house and met with us for about an hour and gave us lots of information so we could decide exactly what we wanted. He has many years of experience in the business and I was very comfortable with the job he would do. The entire project took about five days which pretty good and efficient. The price was reasonable for all the work. The original estimate was close to the final bill. I did upgrade the filter system after we began. This guy knows what he is doing and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
