My husband and I have been in this store several times over the last year, and spent apx $500.00. Maybe not much to some. But in today's economy I can't understand the service they received today, and the loss of apx $750.00 to the vendors at this Antique store. We recently moved here from Massachusetts and been all over New England from Maine to Connecticut shopping for Antiques. We were thrilled to find Seville when we moved to Ohio. Our daughter lives in California and was looking for items to decorate her kitchen with, and we sent her several pictures to look at before her trip here to visit us for Christmas. One of several items were at Along Memory Lane Antiques, and we went in to see if they were still for sale. It was getting close to 5, which we knew was closing time and my husband asked the woman at the counter if they could possibly look a little longer. She said no problem it was a lazy Sunday and she had no where to go. Note we already had $100.00 worth of items we were already purchasing. Our daughter had an additional $150.00 in items, and we had a call into a vendor for another item worth $500.00. Our daughter continued shopping for an additional 10 mins when another gentleman approached them and said that they had closed 10 mins ago. My husband tried to explain that we had asked if they could take a little longer. Suddenly it didn't matter about the money we were about to spend, or that we did ask if it was ok to take a few extra mins. They wanted to know if we were going to purchase the items or not. I could go on and on about who said what, the bottom line is we left, not purchasing a thing. So a few of vendors lost money today, I'm not sure they will care or not after what we witnessed today. A poor reflection on everyone at this Antique store to say the least. I do know we will never ever walk into that antique store again. We have been to several other Antique stores close by and will continue to give them our business. In the future we will keep our money at many of the Antique stores in Medina where they treat you with respect, and are gracious with their time.
Description of Work: Shameful Customer service. Was the worst I have ever seen in an antique store ever.
