I signed a contract with R. Scott Cooper to build a shed. The the was built and paid for. I noticed a few places that had not been painted, but figured I could touch those up. Then I noticed a piece of trim fell off the shed. When you looked very close at the trim pieces you could see that they had used scrap pieces to finish up that side of the shed, and then I noticed both of the flower boxed had started to split. I emailed on 29 Sept, and text messages, to Mr. Cooper about the problems with the shed along with pictures and he said he would be out to fix the shed. I also had to buy spray foam to fill in the gaps at the top of the shed to stop bugs and water to from coming to the shed. Our contract said he would take care of all permit issues, he has said he would mail me the permit. To date, I still do not have the permit. Mr. Cooper did build the shed, but will not fix the workmanship issues. Still to the first of January 2012 he is still coming up with reason why he cannot fix the shed. I filled a complaint with the BBB and he wouldn't even talk with them. Funny thing on this web page he says he offers a Military Discount, we are a military family, the only discount we got was a shed with issue. Last thing, I had to buy 2 cans of spray foam to filling the the large gaps where the roof meet to keep out pest and water.
