Dave is the best contractor we’ve ever hired. His professionalism, workmanship, efficiency, work ethic, and attention to detail are second to none. Equally important is his character and trustworthiness - he delivers on his promises and does it all at a reasonable cost. We hired Dave and his crew to demo our existing deck and rebuild a wraparound Azek deck, including new footers. Dave promised a quote within two days of meeting with us (compared to two weeks or even a month with other contractors) and delivered on his promise. Likewise, when we made changes to the project, he provided a revised quote within two days. He was, to say the least, incredibly responsive from beginning to end. Dave and his crew arrived early every day to begin work at daybreak. They diligently worked outside in inclement weather nonstop each day. I was actually happy to see them break for lunch. When they ran into unexpected obstacles due to the unorthodox construction of our home, they effectively problem-solved, kept us advised, and effortlessly pushed through. The finished product is beautiful. We absolutely love our new deck. Many thanks to Dave and his crew. If you’re looking for a contractor, don’t hesitate - hire him!

This is my second time using Custom Deck and Porch.  I would not use anyone else to do decking work for me.  This time I had Dave the owner remove the old deck railings on the back deck of our home and replace it with a new maintenance free railing.....which also included the railings for the steps. 

I also had Dave replace the old railing on the steps leading to our lakeside deck.....including adding grab bars to make climbing up the stairs easier for our older relatives.

What a "GREAT" job he and his workers do!  Absolutely nothing to complain about.  They are punctual, professional, extremely courteous and his price was excellent for the work done.  I would not hesitate recommending Custom Deck and Porch for hire!

Dave has our highest praise. We actually got his name from Angies List. His punctuality, responsiveness to our concerns, arrangement of all details and permits, and, of course, the quality of his work were all excellent. He and his crew completed the job in only three days. He is a perfectionist and it shows. Well done!

From my first conversation with David....the owner of Custom Deck.... I was completely impressed with his professionalism and service. He sent an estimate to me within one week of my original call. I was having work done at a vacation home.... so David went out to the address I provided and looked at the job and sent me an estimate after discussing on the phone what I was looking to have done. I was satisfied with the price...which I thought was reasonable.... and sent the signed contract back to him. He put me on his schedule and said that the work would be completed by the end of April. Today is April 25th and the job was completed in two days!!!! We had a 20 x 11ft. composite deck with a while aluminum railing installed on the Lake Erie Side of our property. This was a tricky job.... as he had to pour cement footers into the rock above the lake. He did a and quot;GREATand quot; job..... The deck is very secure and it looks beautiful. We can't wait to use it when the weather gets a little warmer. I would highly recommend Custom Deck for any work done.....and would use him again for future jobs. Thanks David for the Great job!!!

Dave and his crew did an amazing job building our patio. It's been over a month and we are still getting compliments on the craftsmanship.

I contracted with them in the fall to have it done in the spring. They were here March 6,2012 and fininished March 7,2012.
They did an excelent job. When I had a question about some areas that needed sanding David was here that afternoon and sanded what needed done. He also said is there is any problems at all not to hesitate to call him. Would definately use them again if I had a project that he does.

He does really good work and I know people have been happy with them. I would recommend him. He is good about his work and getting it done in time. It's good work. He is just a good worker, he works on holidays.
