They were very conscientious and really tried to fix everything that went wrong but it didn't go well. They know marble and they know what they are working with. They know granite and how it is constructed. It is a small family run business and when they came in, the one guy's only job was to measure. I had two pieces of countertop and both of them were measured wrong. We had to punch through the drywall on one of them to get the countertop to slide far enough left so the sinkhole would fit. I told them I didn't care how far in the drywall they went because they were going to be putting a backsplash over it. On the side with the stove they were short on their measurements by half an inch. My husband wanted to take it back but it was a small company and I said we would patch that half-inch and see what it looked like. They did that and it looks good. Their job was to measure it correctly. The sink didn't really match up and they had it the whole time so they could have gotten it perfectly. I had waited 20 years for this granite and I am happy with it but I think anybody else would have told them to take it back and start over. They also messed up my kitchen floor that I had just gotten. I would probably not recommend them to other people. It is good stuff and they did make it right. I still have to have the floor people come back and fix the mess they made. The price was competitive. We had gone with them because they had 20 years experience putting in countertops. He was the guy that did the measuring and he was the head guy. He wasn't the owner but he is the eyes and ears of the company. He was very responsive. There were many times that I'm sure he could have seen my phone number and ignored it. He answered it every time even when he was out on a job.
