CVS SIDING & WINDOWS

We had the windows put in a year ago and they are coming out to totally tear off all the siding and putting on new.The ones that came before never used a level so the house looked horrible and the guy that came out this time saw how bad it was and recommended to the company a complete tear off and do it over. Now the windows are fantastic no problems there.

I wouldn't have them come back again. I am not happy with the windows. They are supposed to save energy and they leak and don't shut right. The cold air comes in and on a couple of the windows I have to actually put towels on the edge to try to keep the cold air out. I am not happy with the quality of the windows. I had them encase all of the windows in oak. There were a lot of windows. They look nice but they are not good windows like they said. They don't save on my energy bill and they are not energy efficient. I shouldn't have to be putting towels on my windowsills to keep the cold air out. They don't shut flush. They either were not installed correctly or they are not quality windows. My old windows were actually better than these. I wasn?t too unhappy with the price; $6,000 was a lot of money but they did encase each of the windows in oak. The quality was very, very, very poor. I picked them strictly on price and maybe that was not the way to do it. They have been in business for a while. They put in a bay window and I had problems with how they roofed it. They had to come back two or three times and they finally hired somebody to fix it. I don?t think the workers were experienced or as knowledgeable as they could have been. I think that is where a lot of the problem came from. I would not use them or recommend them.

We liked everything about them & the windows turned out good. We had a problem with one of the windows because the cedar was kind of broken & they came right out & put another one in. They are all really good people & I would recommend them to anyone & would use them again in the future if I needed their service.
