Awesome job ACW! Very hard workers... heat and rain they never stopped. Reasonably priced, kind and professional. Would absolutely use again!

Fantastic... As expected with ACW! We've called on them 3 times now and every occasion they are prompt, professional, and leave with a job well done. All the guys are hard workers who do not dawdle in getting the work done. 
We're changing a flower bed into a grassy space and couldn't work around large tree roots. ACW removed the large tree roots, worked to flatten and grade the space. They left with grass seed applied and no shred of evidence that there was a grinder and mulcher there that day. 
Oh, and the work was completed in a few hours within a week of scheduling.

All was going well until they accidentally hit a tree while dropping one. The tree that was hit was very large and had a double trunk. The tree split in two when it was hit by the falling tree. I am now left with half of a tree standing and leaning toward the house. They said the remaining part was alive and did not offer to take it down. They told me the part that broke when hit must  have been rotten.

I am disappointed in this company as they had good reviews on the list.

Initial visit promised family run company with insurance policy covering their employees, good price to chop down tree, cut into firewood size pieces 18? and separating out the smaller branches/sticks. A couple weeks later, they arrived, working diligently and actually did EXACTLY as the contract stated. I?ve never seen wood so organized! Without being told, they placed the big pieces in the mulch bed so not killing our grass... They used a blower to get the very small pieces of river birch out of the grass. They arrived the next day as promised with the chipper even in 30 degree weather, sleet and snow mix coming down. They worked quickly and cleaned up the yard meticulously.  
On the second day, we made a new contract for grinding  about 8 tree/bush stumps and removing honeysuckle from wooded area. They carefully worked around the plants that we didn?t want injured. When they were done, there was nothing for us to do! They raked the spots smooth and it looks like there was never honeysuckle there.  

My wife was upset when a large portion of the tree fell after a storm. She was in a hurry to get the rest removed before it could fall. They were quick with a quote, and did the job the next day. But be careful, I think my wife thought that Nick was kind of cute.
Seriously, they did a good job and did it well. They were very careful about not damaging anything while they were working at bringing the rest of the tree down. They cleaned up when they were finished. We will use them again when I get around to having the trunk ground down.

Their initial presentation, communication, execution, and clean up were excellent. Our house was being overgrown by the surrounding woods. Their good work became known in the neighborhood; they obtained more work lasting for over a week. Everyone I talked with were pleased.

Very professional and trustworthy. Communicated with me every step of the way. It was a very difficult job with some very large trees on uneven terrain. They did exactly what we had agreed upon, and then also ground some stumps for me. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

This company was extremely responsive and informative, they came out in very very hot weather and did a great job working through it!
