I had two other quotes lower. Total Service Center asked and got up front payment for the skylight which was OK with me. Their price agreed with what I would spend at Home Depot or Lowes. Winter set in before they could get started, they got on it promptly in Spring. Always showed up on time in a company truck. Quotes were detailed. Hourly rate was provided. The boss showed up to check the man's work. They added a nice finished interior hardwood trim which looked good and did not add to the price. It has not leaked! I kept the extra shingles. There is another skylight in this house and if it starts leaking, I will call them for the job.

Straight line winds did a huge amount of damage in our area here in Northwestern Ohio the end of June and to my mobile home in particular. Damaged the roof beyond repair, foreign objects driven into my siding and most of my skirting gone. I immediately notified my insurance company and started getting repair estimates. A few days later, I noticed a truck from Total Service Center in the mobile home park and asked them if they had time to do an estimate. The gentleman was very courteous and upon finishing with another potential customer, he came over and did a thorough estimate on my mobile home. I had a copy of Total's estimate within a few days. Upon making the decision to go with Total Service, I was put on their list and my repairs were started within several weeks. Total Service Center was not only prompt and punctual, but actually worked until the job was completed taking very few breaks along the way. They also worked with my insurance company and with me when needed. All my questions were answered at anytime via e-mail or in person. Needless to say, I would use Total Service Center again.

The tech arrived and did some routine checks. He determined that the A/C needed some freon which he added but it did not help the issue of the A/C not blowing in the home. He stated that it "might" be a bad layout of the home of "maybe" there was some ductwork that had become disconnected. Since it was hot outside, he was very reluctant to go underneath our home and he decided not to check anything further. He stated we should " give it a day and see how it went". He was here less that 1 hour and we were charged $189, which I paid. It continued to get hotter and hotter and when I called the company and talked to a manager, I got no satisfaction. I asked him to send someone back over to fix it right. He came back 2 days later. He still didn't want to do under the home but after pretty much insisting he do so, he finally went under the home and found numerous ducts that had become disconnected. He reconnected everything and it finally fixed the problem. To my surprise, 1 week later, I received yet another bill for $186.40, which I have refused to pay. If he had done the job right the first time, I would not have needed him to come back.
Response from Total Service Center
"We have prided ourselves with exceptional service since 1980 and have many satisfied customers that continue to utilize our services. It is unfortunate and we regret that this customer had a bad experience with one of our service technicians. This technician did not continue employment with us."
