Ponzani's Landscaping

I was not very pleased with this company. We were told we would have our landscaping and wall finished by Halloween. Halloween came and went. Then, by Thanksgiving, then, Christmas. Finally, Valentine’s Day it was finished…kind of. The men were not consistent. The men from Mexico were really hard workers. The others, well let’s say they showed up. There was never the same crew. Men kept being pulled off of our job to go work on others. I took pics of some of the younger guys on their phones laying in the neighbors grass and it wasn’t lunch time. Two hour lunches and then the guys would sit in the truck from about 3:15 or so and drive off at 4:00. We had to finally ask them to clean up their bottles/trash because it was out of hand. My flower beds only had about 4 inches of soil. The “top supreme” soil was a mixture of clay/dirt. The ground cracks if not watered daily. Some days there was only one young man working. For over $100k, we expect better. Wouldn’t hire them to mow my lawn.

The man was very knowledgeable about the tree itself and how to care for it. He gave me tips on keeping it alive and healthy and even how to get it home without breaking any branches. He was very kind - I am a newbie at landscaping!

When we came home from work at 5:30 pm they were cleaning up and just about done . their where 3 individuals here doing the work and all were professional and courteous all in all we are very pleased . thank-you.

One entire wall caved after 12 months. It was evident at that time that the other wall had moved approximately 8 to 10 inches and was also going to fail. They rebuilt the wall that had fallen in but did not address the issue of the other wall that was about to fail. The owner, Chris Ponzani, was advised by his employees that the other wall was going to cave and when it did that it would fall on a brand new Generac whole house generator valued at $6000.00. The owner would not even personally come to look at the wall. Well sure enough, 6 months later the second wall fell and crushed the generatot. The company rebuilt that wall also but refuses to reimburse us for the generator. What an irresponsible way to operate a business! We would still have an almost new and operable generator had Ponzani Landscaping done the right thing and repaired the wall before it inevitably fell in due to inappropriate construction of it to begin with. A Generac service technician came and inspected the damaged generator and recommends a new one because the labor to repair the existing one would be just as costly. The expense of the walls has now increased from $14,000 to $20,000. We actually have no issues with the company's employees. They did as they were instructed.

They were fabulous, they do a great work whatever they said they gonna do, they do. I will grade them an A+, you get what you pay for, and these guys do fabulous work, whatever they do it looks good and it holds up. My parents have them do work 27 years ago.

The rose garden was first, as soon as we moved into the house. The four rose bushes are still going strong and we are very proud of them.
The next year we went to a different vendor because of price. That was a big mistake. Since then we have dealt exclusively with Ponzani's.
In the past three years they have built and extended walls. They are secure, solid, and very good looking.
They have planted and landscaped various gardens and a tree. We are very pleasewd with the look of the outside of our house.
We have them come every spring to do a spring clean-up.
All employees are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.
