Masonry Restoration

The owner Kevan Stephenson took my deposit for the work but did not do the work. Paid Masonry Restoration $3200 down in Jan, 2019 for a garage floor installation and cannot get the company get the work done after many attempts. Paid Masonry Restoration $4000 in Jan,2019 for concrete work. $800 for support pads and $3200 down for the garage floor on a home addition to move my elderly parents in with me. The pads were done but cannot get the company to do the garage floor after paying the down payment. Been trying to scheduled the work since June, 3 2019 and it is now August 24, 2019. Communication has been terrible. The owner told me back in June 6 that he would get it scheduled. Contacted him again in July 11 and 13. He told me would Schedule it for " in of this month early next". Contacted the owner again Aug 8 since no progress in the work and told him I will be filing a complain with BBB and the Ohio Attorney General, etc. That finally got a response. He stated that " we were coming down this week to get it graded and all". Told him I prefer to resolve this issue civilly. Also, told him if he cannot do the work to refund my money so I can move on with someone else. Once again, he told me that they would be down the week of Aug 12. Empty words from Kevan Stephenson. Requested for the refund of my deposit, got no reply. I guess I will have to go to court to get my money back. This is the worst company I have dealt with.
