I called Cutlip Excavating and said that I had a problem with my septic, but it wasn't an emergency, and it didn't need fixed for a couple of weeks or so. Steve met me at the house 2 days later at a time that was convenient for me. He showed me that one box that I thought needed to be replaced was actually in good condition. He also explained to me what needed to happen to unclog a portion of the system and what would need to be done if "plan A" was not succesful. He gave me some good advice concerning what to do in the future to extend the life of the system. His price was fair, so I agreed to let him get started. He showed up with his son, some new parts and his equipment; the job was finished in an afternoon while I was at work. I was very impressed and would certainly recommend him to someone looking to have work done on their septic system or any of the other work that he does. Steve also noticed that the outlet used to plug the septic pump into needed changed. He had a good one in his truck and even left it at no charge.
