Technician owned business serving Northeast Ohio since 1972. Registered member of the Piano Technician's Guild since 1975, RPT. Graduate of factory sponsored piano action preparation courses by both Yamaha and Steinway & Sons. Instructor at local, state, regional and national piano technician's seminars. Conservatory trained musician who understands high performance requirements and can also accomodate the needs of casual musicians and beginners. Warranties and insurance available for some contracted services. By appointment only.

Services we offer

Servicing ACOUSTIC pianos: spinets, consoles, uprights and grands. Services provided include piano tuning, repairs, action regulation, voicing, concert prep, restorations, and rebuilding including custom action/soundboard/bridge/and pinblock replacement. Professional appraisals, evaluations and purchasing consultations by appointment.

Services we don't offer

Services NOT offered are case refinishing, moving, service on organs, digital or electronic keyboards. Referrals may be provided for these services.

Mr. Leary was delayed because of extremely severe weather conditions, but he kept us informed of his progress by telephone. When he arrived, he exhibited a high degree of knowledge, thoroughness, and professionalism. He did not leave until he had answered our many questions. We noticed a definite improvement in the sound of our instrument as a result of the work he performed.
Description of Work: Mr. Leary tuned a long-neglected 98-year-old piano.

Mr. Leary has tuned my Steinway grand piano several times. When I call to schedule I get a window of time when I can expect him (morning/afternoon). The day before, he calls and gives me a closer estimate (between two and three o'clock). He is always punctual. He does a very good job of tuning, alerts me to problems and if necessary suggests appropriate repairs. I am very pleased with his work. So is my piano.

FRED DRAKE WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE PIANO AND NEVER SAID A WORD ABOUT IT BEING OUT OF TUNE. THE PIANO SOUNDED WONDERFUL AS DID THE REST OF THE BAND.
Description of Work: PIANO TUNING FOR A GRAND PIANO. THE MUSICIANS WE HIRED (THE HARRY JAMES ORCHESTRA) REQUIRED THE PIANO TO BE TUNED THE DAY BEFORE THEIR PERFORMANCE.
