"We are happy to respond to this complaint. The statements by this member are untrue, since we left this property with the gas-line work completed in 2016, (not- 02/10/2017)?.. and properly tested over a year ago. (This project was completed 02/2016. All dated and signed documents are available for review). * We are happy that Angie's List has now reviewed our submitted paperwork, and has corrected the date of service for this project to reflect that the project was completed over one year ago, (with no complaint until 2/10/17) - .. *Please see below. *As we have described, the work was completed over a year ago, and was confirmed as correct by the East Ohio Gas Company (when service was restored after our work was completed). The following information is our original clarification of this incorrect complaint.... *Initially, we reviewed this project that had an old cook-top with flexible gas-line in place prior to our involvement. This was due to the current position of the old cook-top. We corrected the leaks and checked all connections and informed this member that when his newly purchased stove was delivered, it would have to be moved out from the wall by several inches to allow for solid black gas-piping to be installed. This member was not interested in moving this new stove whenever it would be delivered, and wanted only the leaks from the cook-top lines to be repaired. Obviously, this member continued to try to move in the new stove, after it's delivery, using the old lines already in place. Our company was then called to come back to change out the existing flexible lines that were in place, when his new stove was delivered. We then, put in all new, solid black gas line pipes and connected the new stove. We had to cut out the existing cabinet for the new stove to fit properly and the solid gas-lines to fit. The new stove needed to be out a few inches from the wall to accommodate the new gas pipes. Our gauges and testing equipment showed that no gas leaks were present and all repairs to the gas lines were correct. East Ohio Gas Co. agreed, and they restored the gas service at this property, and all was properly approved. This member signed all documents (which have been submitted to Angie's List) and we were paid and left the property with gas service restored and all issues completed. We have heard nothing from this member for over a year. If there were leaks that occurred (after our contract was completed and paid for, with his check # 304, from this member back in 2016), it is our belief that this member may have tried to move the new stove back into his desired position, possibly causing new leaks. At the time we left this property, the gas-lines were correct, tested with the proper equipment, and no leaks were present. The gas service was restored by East Ohio Gas Co. and all was approved by the Gas company, This member paid for our services, and all was well in 2016. We do have the copy of his check #304 and all signed documents, including a "Satisfaction of Services Performed" document dated 2/25/2016, that proves his satisfaction with our work. This member is welcome to contact our company if there are concerns, however we have heard nothing for over a year until this complaint was posted. All documents described have been delivered to Angie's List, and are available for review via Angie's List, or our company."
