Rob and the guys at Big Bear Remodeling did some renovation work on our house in Lakewood. We used a 203K HomeStyle loan to pay for the work as part of our mortgage when we bought the house, which turned out to be a pain in terms of finding contractors who will work with you and the bank. However, Rob was familiar with them and willing to work through the process with us. Big Bear Remodeling gave us a new roof, new garage siding, new electrical panel and lighting in the house as well as a complete gut and remodel job to our main upstairs bathroom. Rob was very responsive to emails, texts and calls and did a good job of keeping us informed as the job went on. His crew kept things as tidy as you can during that much work and did a fantastic job. He even stuck darn close to the budget, which is always a good thing. My wife and I are very happy to be in our new home! We would highly recommend Rob and the guys at Big Bear Remodeling.

Rob and the crew at Big Bear were great to work with right from the start. The final quote looked exactly like the estimate that we got during Rob's first visit, and the work was done in a clean, professional manner all the way through our project. Once the work was done we had a couple of touch-ups that we needed, and a couple of things we wanted to have added that we didn't discuss initially. All of that follow-up work was completed within a week of asking and our new addition looks great. Everyone we dealt with at Big Bear was great to work with and we have already contacted them for additional work on our house. I would definitely recommend Big Bear Remodeling to anyone looking to get work done on their house.

Got both bathrooms remodeled in my condo, including new tub, custom walk in tile shower, and custom tile floors. Fantastic experience from beginning to end and exceeded my expectations. Helped me through the design stage while still staying respectful of my budget. Was very prompt and professional during the construction phase and throughout. Great communication throughout the process and was very accessible if I had any questions. Ensured top quality work was done (even higher than my expectations and my own high standards). Also did great follow up service to ensure that I was happy. The project finished on time and was great quality. Mark was the main tile guy and did a great job. I would highly recommend Big Bear and plan to use them again in the future.

After a prolonged search for a reliable and cost competitive contractor who we could trust to remodel our main bathroom and kitchen, we had the good fortune to be introduced to Big Bear Remodeling. After first seeing the results of their work in remodeling our main bath, we moved forward and hired them to remodel our kitchen. Both jobs were completed within the time frame discussed and within budget, together with the high quality of work that we were looking for. Rob the owner is very hands on and holds himself and his employees to a very high standard. Our experience with Big Bear Remodeling was excellent and we would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel a bath or kitchen.

There was not much to like about my tiny bathroom, from the stinky lowered ceiling to the stained linoleum flooring. The guys gutted the bathroom – took out the nasty ceiling, tile walls, tub, cheap plastic tub surround that leaked into the basement, MDF vanity, old toilet and built-in cabinet. They fixed the holes in the floor, reclaimed the window space that the previous owner had covered over, installed a skylight, and replaced some of the old plumbing in the basement. Then they put in a properly-sloped floor with lovely basketweave green marble and an infinity drain, tiled the walls with a similar green marble subway tile, refinished the top of the wall and the ceiling, installed a quiet fan, vanity and overhead lighting. They put in a dainty pedestal sink, low-flow toilet, shower and curtain rod, and rescued an original door found in the attic and installed it in place of the cheap hollow-core door.

Big Bear did a superb job on my basement bathroom remodeling project. The owner, Rob, is extremely friendly and straightforward and always returns calls timely. He got me a quote right away for the job and other than some minor adjustments regarding the start date for the project (which worked out OK) he and his team did a wonderful job replacing toilet and sink, putting up new drywall, new floor, even fixing some plumbing work that was not done to code by the previous plumber. The work was done super-professionally with nice quality of materials used. The new bathroom looks great and the whole experience was very hassle-free. I am hoping to work with Rob/ Big Bear again on some more remodeling work next year.

I found Big Bear Remodeling through Home Advisor and it couldn't have worked out any better. The owner, Rob, listened to my ideas and he added in some of his own, which were supported by photos of other projects they have done. The crew was very competent, professional, friendly and courteous. They were a pleasure to work with. And the price right. Rob was always very much aware of our budget for this project. It was a very good experience and I would highly recommend Big Bear Remodeling. I now have a beautiful master bathroom, thanks to Rob at Big Bear.

I highly recommend Big Bear Remodeling. You cannot find a better individual to work with than Rob Young with Big Bear Remodeling. From the first meeting, I could tell Rob was very knowledgeable and a genuinely nice guy to deal with. There are always going to be ups and downs on a project. The nice thing about Rob is he will work with you and bend over backwards to make sure your project comes out to your liking. He also is flexible in allowing you to pick up items yourself or he will order for you while always being conscious about keeping you in budget. The job did run a little over the time estimate to complete. As long as you stay patient you will not be disappointed.

The owner is constantly checking on the work progress and is a perfectionist. If it's not done to his standards, he makes sure it's done correctly. The job may take a little more time, but you know it's done right. The workers are prompt, have always put in a full day of work and clean up each day. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a quality job at a reasonable rate.

We give Big Bear Remodeling a solid A++. We met with Rob, the owner, initially for a couple of fun hours to decide the course of action for a complete bathroom renovation, including new flooring, wall paint, acrylic surround with a new tub and new copper piping and more. We appreciated that he had samples and/or catalogs with him for us to choose most of what we wanted that same day. It was an easy, stress-free process. Rob was patient, knowledgeable, and economically priced. We found a few of the miscellaneous fixtures on an internet source when Plan A (checking two major home improvement stores Rob initially suggested) didn't have the unique look we were going for. He was all for Plan B, and he immediately ordered our lighting, medicine cabinet, etc. from the on-line distributor instead. Everything was delivered directly to our home the next week, which was very efficient for the workers. Rob was quick to respond to any questions or concerns during the process. He definitely puts the customer first. At the final inspection, he found a very minor flaw in the paint near an outlet. He insisted that someone would be scheduled to come out to repair it. We highly recommend Big Bear Remodeling!

Rob Young and his crew did a terrific job remodeling my two bathrooms. The work performed was fantastic, on schedule, on budget and they took great care in respecting our home by placing canvas drop cloths on my carpeting. They cleaned up once completed and they hauled all the debris away. They even helped me with an unexpected emergency by repairing a leaking roof and replacing rotted window framing during another company's window installation. Rob is already reviewing plans on a Spring project. They went above and beyond my expectations.
