I keep my entire iTunes library on an external hard drive as well as all of my family photos. I took it for granted that the hard drive would last forever and did not back up the data. Sure enough on a Sunday afternoon the hard drive died. It had power but the drive would not spin up. I checked Angie's List for a computer repair company and found Get Geek. There were several options but Get Geek indicated that they were open on Sunday. I called and spoke to the owner/operator, Wyko ter Haar. I advised him of the problem and he agreed to look at the hard drive that day. I brought him the hard drive and he explained in detail what he would do and what would happen if he couldn't recover any data from the hard drive. The diagnostic fee was $50. Later that day Wyko called me and advised that he was able to revive the dead hard drive and will be able to rescue all of the data. He said that he will transfer the data to a new external hard drive and get back to me in a few days. I picked up my new hard drive with all my data on it a few days later. A majority of the cost was that of the new hard drive. Overall well worth it. Wyko has flexible payment options and an overall professional business model.

The provider's help guided me through the confusing business of acquiring a new computer and getting it up and running. All went smoothly and quickly. Since then, his phone service has been most helpful for clearing up matters that were not clear to me at the time of the computer's purchase.
