Started rehab project  12/14 ? semi complete 11/1/15
    
Contract state that KB Twin will provide all material and
labor
     
Lost track of the number of bank construction
draws he had used  - had requested
several extension fees
He was down to the last draw and he did not have
the money to complete project
   
I had to pull money out of my retirement plan
prior to age 59 ½ to give him to complete the project 
The withdrawal has created a tax debt which
includes a 10% penalty
    
Cut 4 sets of sliding closet doors to short and
tried to pass off a patched job (pictures attached) ? his response ?I am not
buying new doors? ?He knew the
doors were too short because he kept saying if I anchor the closet doors it
will damage the carpet.
Basement closet rod fell and damaged wall ? I
had to pay him to repair
Put a skim on the patio deck which is cracking
and the surface is incomplete
  
Did not follow point of sales on patio deck ?
tuck points had concrete on them ? fell apart and he did not paint them as
required by point of sales ? copy attached - cost to repair
 
Damaged vanity cabinet while installing ?

Cut basement vanity to make fit around baseboard
heater ? the cut is jagged and unfinished ? picture attached
     
Chose not to install finishing trim on basement
shower ? as he did with the master bath - looks unfinished ? picture attached
      
All fixtures and door knobs for bathrooms were
to be brushed nickel ? I purchased and installed door know for basement
bathroom
There is and always was a weak step going down
to basement ? he covered it with carpet
 
Damaged paint job while installing kitchen sink
Misaligned one of the  kitchen cabinet holes and we can only use one
shelf
   
Damaged 2 kitchen cabinets during installation
   
Spigots to washer leaking -
Left boiler leaking ? brought to his attention
more than once ?
  
Installed wrong type of lock for French doors
(bedroom) does not lock -
      
Built closet for shoes ? no shelves
  
Requested he install water softener filtration
system ? sent email 12/2014- did not review ? built closet ? lost part of
closet due to the system required install location by Roto Rooter
    
Masonry project on front of house ? he removed
bricks for his use ? were paid for out of contract
  
Rolling shutter was un-abled to be serviced ?
did not cap or removed obstruction
Cracked tile at entrance to mother?s bathroom
    
We hired a landscaper to take care of the yard ?I 
point of sales required him to cut and maintain bushes 
Small paint mistakes.

KB Twin Investment gives contractors a bad name and now I
understand why the banks stopped paying draws upfront.
