NEMECKAY'S ROOFING & HOME IMPROVEMENT COMPANY

Nemeckay Roofing provided a roof inspection on our house before buying. There was some water damage in living room that they claimed was not water damage, but just the ceiling peeling. Also, their inspection claimed that we should be able to get about 10 more years out of the roof. We bought the house based on this information. After living in the house for a few months, we realized that the spot on the ceiling was getting wet every time it rained. We called another company to give an estimate and they said the roof was in bad shape from wind damage and that was causing the leak. Long story short, the other company was able to put on a new roof completely covered by insurance (even the insurance inspector agreed that the roof was bad). Absolutely do not use this company!

After doing the agreed upon work, Mr. Nemeckay instructed his employees to cut down a huge healthy pine tree that had NOT been marked with a yellow ribbon by the homeowner, significantly decreasing the property value and causing emotional distress to the residents of the property where the work was done as well as to the neighbors. When a resident of the household returned home and Mr. Nemeckay was contacted by his employees to return to the property he stated he had "made a mistake". It should be known that while giving the original estimate Mr. Nemeckay stated "What am I going to be able to buy after this job?". Clearly, Mr. Nemeckay is only concerned with his own financial gain and is not concerned with destroying his client's property. It should also be noted that Mr. Nemeckay is NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

That experience was excellent.  The price was much lower than everyone else.  When I was trying to get a price and contacted him, he was the only one who actually called back.  Other contractors never bothered returning my calls.

Great experience overall. The crew was respectful of the property and cleaned-up at the end of each day (the job took about 2-1/2 days). I like the fact that the owner of the company was on site doing the work with his crew. After the shingles were removed, they discovered some rotted wood. He cut out the rotted area and replaced that part of the roof. The final bill was a couple hundred dollars over the estimate, but that was the result of having to replace the part of the rotted roof. In terms of pricing, we had three estimates. One for $7,500, Mr. Nemeckay's for $5,200, and one for $4,000. I felt like we got a bargain in terms of quality and workmanship. We highly recommend Nemeckay Roofing and would absolutely hire them again.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH NERMECKAY'S WAS VERY POSITIVE. THE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR AND THE CREW WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEM IN THE FUTURE.
