Matt arrived on time and even though he had transportation issues he still made it to the work site in a timely manner. He patched holes that had to be made & cleaned up the work site when completed.

Interstate Electric was a great company to work with. We were selling our old house, and the buyer's home inspection turned up some issues with insufficient amp service and grounding issues. Matt was very professional and thorough with his repair, and was able to work within our tight schedule.  He replaced wire's in the service pipe from the outside, overhead lines to our main breaker. He re-supported our meter and pipe outside. He also installed an all new grounding system into our panel. We highly recommend Interstate Electric and would use them again for future projects!

Matt was very punctual, did what he said he would do and at the quoted price.  This was a multi-step process and involved coordination with another contractor which he handled effortlessly without the need for follow-up calls and reminders.  I recommend his services and will use him again.

After calling two referred electricians who couldn't be bothered to return our calls, we consulted Angie's List and found Matt.  Matt was professional and punctual, returning our voice mails quickly.  We had him come out initially to look into a ceiling fan/light fixture we thought had a short (turned itself on and off).  He had a look and discovered a loose connection.  We were also concerned about the fact that we had blown over a dozen light bulbs in the house over the last few months.  After doing some investigation, he determined that we did not have any major problems to be concerned about with our electricity.  He was willing to install our light fixture for an 18' foyer (for which we had received an estimate from a big box store for $400 to install!) at a very reasonable price, and even changed two light bulbs in another room on fixtures which were also about 15' up (we haven't yet invested in a 12' ladder).  Throughout, he was courteous and professional, and answered a number of questions from us.  He also had a few suggestions about a few other things (we're considering some work in our basement).  All for a very reasonable price.  All done quickly.  We highly recommend Matt, and will be using him again.

I called Interstate Electric and spoke directly with the owner Matt Pierson.  He came to the house the next day and provided an estimate everytime we needed something fixed or added.
The next day he started the job and didn't stop until he was finished.  He also was very available when we needed something else fixed.
Our project was over 7 months.  He was at our home almost everyday until the job was completed.  The only time he wasn't working was when we were waiting for supplies to come into the warehouse or for another project in the house to be completed.

I am doing my own kitchen remodel, but knew that I did not have the knowledge or experience to do all of the electrical work I wanted by myself.  The owner, Matt, and one of his electricians came out to my house on Saturday morning.  I had coordinated the timing of the electrical work with the demolition of the ceiling - While I had some friends helping me demo the ceiling and soffits, Interstate Electric went to work on my long list of items I was looking to accomplish.  As soon as we had the ceiling down, they began installing the recessed lights and dealing with the wires that were in the soffits.  They were knowledgeable, efficient, and in less than 8 hours had completed everything as my wife had requested.  Matt also helped us address some of the other issues we ran into (the cold air return in the ceiling and soffit that needed to be moved, the soil vent pipe that needed to be moved), as Matt indicated they do other work in addition to electrical contracting.  The next morning I was in position to replace the drywall that we tore out the day before!  I would definitely recommend Interstate Electric and Contracting.
