VERIZON WIRELESS

I purchased a mobile phone July 8, 2014 online and requested it to be sent to the Taylor Park location. I was told I would receive a notification when the phone was available to be picked up. That the phone would be held for 4 days. if I did not pick it up by then the order would be cancelled. I never heard from the store so on the 12th I attempted to call for hours numerous hours and no one ever picked up the line. I called the national number. They attempted to call the location also a couple of times and were unable to get through. The customer service person checked the stock and said the location had 5 of the phone, but they could not help me until after the 4th day in which the order would be cancelled automatically.

I use my new pocket pc for music which I use everyday in my business, I use the excel mobile program for my rosters, send and receive emails, texts, google maps, google search, surf the net and of course, the phone.

My family's cell phone contract was about to expire, so Verizon gave us a pretty nice credit toward new phones. We went to the store, signed in at the registration station, and waited. We looked at all the phones, and waited. We grabbed a brochure and decided amongst ourselves which features we wanted. Then we waited some more. We were there for well over an hour before we made it to the counter. The salesperson was very helpful. In the end we were able to get five cell phones for $50, plus a plan for $80 per month for all five lines, which seems like a pretty good deal. However, activation took even longer. We were at the counter for another 45 minutes just waiting for activation, processing, and so forth. The quality of the phones is fine, the staff is very attentive, the network is solid, and we got an unbeatable deal, but the wait times are RIDICULOUS.

We had another wireless carrier who charged us exorbitant fees for plans with features we didn't need. When we told them about it, it was actually cheaper to KEEP the unwanted/unneeded stuff, but it still felt like we were being ripped off because our phones couldn't handle these things. Verizon sold us phones we could use, with features we could use or ignore at a reasonable price. The features we don't care to use don't get charged (unless used) and we NEVER lose calls like we did with the other company. The salesperson was so knowledgeable about the products and services that we have referred several people to them.

THIS STORE DRIVES ME CRAZY EVERY TIME I HAVE TO GO THERE. IT IS NOTHING BUT WAITING AND YOU SHOULD ALWAYS EXPECT TO SPEND AT LEAST AN HOUR OR TWO OF WAITING. HOWEVER ONCE YOU GET TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE THE SALES PEOPLE ARE VERY INFORMATIVE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS AND THE SERVICE PLANS.
