Rosetta was extremely difficult to work with. She refused to talk on the phone and would only work through e-mail, which made every step of the purchase of our home longer than necessary. Here is just one of many examples: she threatened us at one point, saying, "buyers are often surprised that the seller has cancelled the transaction due to time guideline delays" because my husband had accidentally signed the sellers line on a couple of the documents and needed to resign and resend them. She sent said documents on a Saturday morning at 4:41 am, my realtor retrieved them at 9:06 am and forwarded them to us, which we promptly signed and returned. On one occasion I contacted the representative from the bank that owned the property to discuss how unprofessional Rosetta was. Within 20-30 minutes of ending the call with the representative, Rosetta contacted my realtor by phone, at which point she was again unprofessional and yelled at my realtor. I can only guess that the representative contacted Rosetta and discussed my concerns. Rosetta's website indicates that she takes pride in details and she's dedicated to client satisfaction, but my experience has been the exact opposite. It took an extra week to close because she gave false information regarding the homeowner's association fee to the title company. She was so rude and made every step more difficult, so much so, that we nearly walked away from the purchase. My husband and I were relieved to complete the transaction and to never have to work with her again. If you are listing your house with a realtor and wish to use someone who works hard for you, do not use Rosetta/Tri-County Real Estate. Her poor reputation precedes her. I would never buy another house where she is the list agent, nor will I ever use or recommend her to list a property.
Description of Work: Rosetta Hayes, from Tri-County Real Estate, was the list agent on a house that my husband and I purchased.
