The salesperson was very helpful and accommodating.  I went in the store looking for ceramic tiles
and carpet and walked out with acrylic luxury vinyl tiles and carpet. These
acrylic tiles were a smart choice and I am happy for the recommendation. I am very
satisfied with my new floors especially the tiles. The installers were very
professional and courteous and took the time to answer any questions that I
had. They were suppose to place the new tile on top of the old vinyl floors but
notice that the old vinyl floors were only glued on by the edges therefore they
would not support this process. The installers on their own decided to remove
all of the old vinyl before installing the new tiles. Thanks for doing it
right. Rite Rug also used Vintage and Design Plumbing to remove the toilets
prior to the work. Good thing because they found a leak on one of the toilets
that now has been taken care of with no additional costs. They were back before
the installers were done to reconnect all the toilets. 

We wanted to purchase laminate flooring from RiteRug on Rt. 256 in Reynoldsburg. After not being taken seriously as buyers in the store from the main sales people an older gentlemen at the store finally helped us. I was not impressed with sales staff at all. We ended up agreeing on a laminate and install from Rite Rug. The price was decent.
The install is where the main issues occured. The staff that performed install did not do a good job. Quality of craftsmanship was poor. We had to have RiteRug come back out twice to fix what the installers messed up (popped up boards, missing quarter round). Flash forward to over a year later (post replacement guarantee period), we just found out that there has been a slow leak from our dishwasher where the water lines were kinked by installers over a year ago. I am not surprised due to the quality of craftsmanship of the installer crew. I would not recommend using this store and specifically their installation team.

The price was good. The quality of work was fine. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. However, just based on a friend of mine who also had the work done, I don't know that I would use them. I would use the sales person. I am not sure that I would use the installation. Mine was fine but hers was bad.

The worker they used was a subcontractor. He was great. He worked and worked. He did not slack off. The floor looks good. I got a btter price than from a company that was supposed to be offering a 25% discount. They were great and did a great price.

Wanted laminate flooring for the kitchen. Was also shopping for carpet at the time. Met Mr. Flannigan at the time. Received estimate for both laminate and carpeting. Accepted offer for laminate only. Due to differing work hours, it was sometimes difficult to reach Mr. Flannigan with questions/concerns. Did not like the policy of paying in full for job prior to ordering of materials. It became more difficult to contact the store after payment was made. Once contact was made though, things went smoothly. Installation went well and am very happy with product. When the installers arrived, it was discovered that some pieces were not included in the estimate that should have been. Was resolved between the installer and Rite Rug at no cost to me.

They did the work very good. I have no complaints what so ever. I highly recommend them and would use them again. They were very clean and didn't make any mess.

24 HOURS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION THEY NEEDED TO GLUE DOWN TACK STRIPS. HAVING NOT HEARD FROM THEM I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE OUR SCHEDULED INSTALLATION & THEY HAD NO RECORD OF THIS AND HAD BASEMENT FLOOR LISTED AS CONCRETE! THEY DIDN'T SEND ANYONE OUT. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL AS TO WHEN IN THE DAY THE CARPET WAS GOING TO BE INSTALLED. AGAIN, HAD TO CALL THEM, BUT COULD NOT GIVE ME A TIME. SAID THEY DON'T! THE INSTALLER WHO CAME OUT TO CARPET THE BASEMENT AND STAIRS DID NOT DO STEPS! NOT SURE WHY. AGAIN, HAD TO CALL THE CO. AT 2PM THEY SAID SOMEONE WAS ON THEIR WAY TO DO THE STEPS. AT 5PM, NOBODY HAD SHOWN UP AS I WAITED. I CALLED AGAIN. SOMEONE DID COME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO INSTALL THE CARPETING ON THE STEPS. MY WHOLE EVENING AND MORNING WERE NOW OFF SCHEDULE AS I HAD TO WAIT ON THEM. RITE RUG DIDN'T DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN SAY SORRY! THEN HAD TO CALL ABOUT A 'BUBBLE' IN THE CARPET & A SEAM THAT WAS NOTICEABLE. THEY DID SEND SOMEONE TO FIX THAT. A PIECE OF PAD WAS LEFT UNDER CARPET! UGH!

I PURCHASED THE CARPET AFTER MEASUREMENT & WAITED FOR A CALL REGARDING WHEN THE CARPET WOULD ARRIVE & INSTALLATION WOULD BEGIN. I HAD TO FOLLOW UP 3 TIMES TO GET THE INSTALL DATE. THE INSTALLERS WERE DUE TO ARRIVE BETWEEN 8-10 AM. THEY ARRIVED NEAR NOON. THIS WAS SCHEDULED TO BE AN ALL DAY JOB. ABOUT 3 HOURS INTO THE JOB THE INSTALLER CAME TO TELL ME THAT THE SALES PERSON HAD INCORRECTLY MEASURED THE ROOM & THERE WAS AN INSUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF CARPET TO FINISH THE JOB. HE FINISHED TWO ROOMS AND THE HALL AND LEFT. I HAD NO IDEA WHEN SOMEONE WOULD BE BACK. I FOLLOWED UP WITH THE SALES PERSON, WHO SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME. FIRST HE STATED THAT THE INSTALLER HAD MADE A WRONG CUT & THAT HIS MEASUREMENTS WERE CORRECT. HE WOULD ORDER MORE CARPET & CALL ME WITH A NEW INSTALL DATE. HE DID NOT, I HAD TO FOLLOW UP AGAIN. THE 2ND INSTALLATION DID NOT FINISH DUE TO STAIRS THAT NEEDED REPAIR. THE INSTALLER LEFT DOORS UNHUNG & DEBRIS ALL OVER THE FLOOR. THE LAST INSTALLER LEFT DEBRIS AS WELL

THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THE SALESPERSON TALKED DOWN TO MY WIFE AND BASICALLY IGNORED HER WHEN ANOTHER CUSTOMER CAME UP TO HIM. HE WOULD ONLY GIVE US THE DATE OF INSTALLATION, BUT NOT WHETHER IT WOULD BE MORNING OR AFTERNOON. THEREFORE, A WHOLE DAY'S VACATION HAD TO BE TAKEN TO WAIT ON THEM TO ARRIVE, WHICH ENDED UP BEING IN THE AFTERNOON. WE EVEN CALLED THE MORNING OF INSTALLATION TO GET AN IDEA, AND HE SAID HE DID NOT KNOW.

THE INSTALLERS SAID THAT SINCE THEY DID NOT HAVE TO USE THE UNDERLAYMENT, IT WOULD BE A LOT CHEAPER. THEY USED A SKIM COAT OF EMBOSSING LEVELER. I CALLED RITE RUG TO GET A REFUND OF THE $300.00 (THE CHARGE FOR THE LUAN UNDERLAYMENT) AND HE REFUSED! . . . HE SAID THAT TO USE EMBOSSING LEVELER FOR 201 SQ FT IT COSTS $1.75 PER SQ FT AND HE WAS ONLY GOING TO CHARGE ME $1.50 PER SQ FT AT A COST OF $301.50 (SAME AS THE INSTALLATION). HE SAID HE DEDUCTED THE $300.00 (THE COST OF THE UNDERLAYMENT) AND THE $80.40 (FOR THE FLOOR PREP) AND ADDED THE $301.50 SO REFUNDED ME $78.90. I TRIED TO GET THIS RESOLVED WITH RITE RUG, BUT THEY DON'T WANT TO DO THE RIGHT THING. I CONTACTED OTHER FLOORING COMPANIES ON ANGIE'S LIST AFTER ALL THIS HAPPENED, AND THEY AGREED THAT I AM GETTING RIPPED OFF. I ALSO ASKED DOITYOURSELF.COM AND THEY AGREE THAT I AM GETTING RIPPED OFF. . . HELP!!!

AFTER E-MAILING THIS COMPANY WITH AN ATTACHMENT SHOWING THE BBB COMPLAINT, THE INSTALLER CALLED THE VERY NEXT MORNING AND STATED THAT HE WOULD BE OUT BETWEEN 5:00PM AND 5:30PM TO FIX THE ISSUE. MY WIFE LEFT WORK EARLY TO MEET THE INSTALLER. THE INSTALLER NEVER SHOWED NOR WAS THERE ANY COMMUNICATION THAT HE WOULD NOT SHOW.
