He kept 35% of what he sold. He sold everything for $575 and kept $200. I thought it was very fair. Some of the stuff were old so I had no idea if it was worth something and he was very good about that. The auction ended on July 17th so within a month, he had listed it and held the auction.

Kevin came to the house and checked what would be sold. He did not list items that were already promised to people. He grouped smaller items that we would not have even thought of selling. He took pictures of the items for the auction. Bidding started as soon as the pictures were posted and lasted several days. He handled all the picking up of items and even the large items were taken without damaging the house or the furniture. He was careful of both materials and financial records. As soon as all checks had cleared, he brought us a detailed accounting of the entire process with the check. The approximate cost was his 35 percent of the proceeds. In addition we saved considerable by not needing to hire someone to haul away all items sold.

EXPERIENCE WAS POSITIVE. THE PEOPLE WHO PICKED UP THE ITEMS WERE NICE AND EXPLAINED THE ENTIRE AUCTION PROCESS TO US. THERE WAS A DELAY OF 1 WEEK IN RECEIVING THE PROCEEDS CHECK DUE TO LOST PAPERWORK, BUT WE STILL GOT THE CHECK.
