BEWARE. This is a scam. After a walkthrough of my home, I received a quote for $827.76, I was not given an option to pay after the service, and my CC was charged $886.92 by SERVICE CONVENIENCE INC. to replace four window panels. The technician arrived and after an inspection of the windows, told me that he would only be able to repair three of the four windows because he did not have the correct equipment. I told him I would be in my office while he worked on the windows and to let me know when he was finished. An hour or two later, the technician was nowhere to be found. There were messes around two of the four windows that he replaced, he did not even attempt to replace the third and he had broken two additional windows (the panels outside of the interior panel that he replaced). This was over a month ago and it has been a nonstop headache ever since. I have more broken windows than when I started, a mess to clean up, non stop back and forth with this fraudulent company who hasn't even refunded so much as a dollar and I am out nearly $900. Their offer, after all of this, was to refund me $134.44 - a number that doesn't even make a bit of sense - but it is "going to take awhile because they have a new computer system" I am out almost $900 and in an unsafe situation with my street level broken windows. I have sent several messages and I am clearly out out of luck, but you don't have to be. Do not hire this company.

The representative on the phone was very helpful. The company came the same day to provide an estimate and that went well. We agreed to the work and put a deposit down and we were told the glass would take about two weeks to be ready. We received an email a few days later offering to fix the window much sooner than expected. So far, so good. The email suggested a day that we were scheduled for the work. I told them it was only a good day if the work could be performed later in the afternoon. They were unable to provide an exact time but told me they had given us the last appointment of the day. I asked if it would be after 3:30 and they promised it would. The response time for the emails was very good. However, they called my husband at 12:15 saying they were on their way. It was not after 3:30. He had to come home from work to meet the installer which is what we were trying to avoid. Then, the installer did a very poor job of cleaning up after himself. There were broken glass shards on the windowsill from the old window and also on the floor of the room which was very disappointing.

Very good! Work was done as expected. Very professional and cleaned up. Good experience!

After we requested estimate, they contacted us very promptly. Showed up on time. Estimate was fair. Work was completed quickly. We had two large double hung windows with broken seals and fog. New windows look great. Only complaint was fingerprints all over the new windows. Unfortunately these are 2nd floor windows and very tall with high ceilings. We had to get out our ladder to get the inside clean. There are prints and streaks all over the exterior as well - we are waiting for warmer weather to get the extension ladder out and clean those up. I am hoping that none of the marks are on the inner glass surfaces and therefore permanent. Overall satisfied but annoyed that the workers couldn't have spent 2 extra minutes cleaning.

Very good.  Had to prepay emergency fee of $350 but Jason B. arrived within 20 minutes to clean up all the large glass shards (and turkey feathers!) covering the 16x16 vaulted family room.   The opening is custom size, aluminum and stucco exterior, and solid wood trim interior, so Jason has to custom cut plywood to fit, and rig 2x4 with bolts to hold in place to not damage trim.   Returned 10 days later to install replacement custom insulated glass.   Looks good as new now.

I contacted the company via phone and acquired a quote.  They come to my home and replaced the windshield on my min van. I wasn't home and so my wife paid the bill, it was $90 higher then what they quoted me via the phone. When I realized the discrepancy I contact them via phone. They informed me that the difference in price was due to a part which was not included in the original quote. I requested they refund the difference but they refused to honor the quote given. I am upset that they didn't give me an accurate quote, I have also filed a complaint with the better business bureau. The replacement its self was fine, I would however not use them again in the future.
After two tries, I received a check for the difference from the company.

The repair crew can out and looked at the window.  They made some recommendations and the window was replaced on the spot.  It took less than an hour.  They were very professional and answered my questions.  They did not leave a mess.  I was very happy that this company responded so quickly.  I called 2 other companies and it was going to be at least 2 weeks before anyone could even look at the window.

They were wonderful. They did the job in two hours time. The windows were foggy before as where I could hardly see through them. Now you can't even tell there is glass there. They were efficient, clean and neat. They were very mannerly and I would definitely have them come out again. I felt very comfortable with having them come into my home as I live alone.

Overall my service experience was fair. They were prompt in providing an estimate and took measurements of the windows that needed repair. When they came to install the glass it was discovered by the installer that the wrong size glass was ordered. The installer also broke one of the windows. Luckily the break was in the pane facing the inside portion of the house. It took another two weeks to order a new set of glass and I had to call to schedule the installation appointment despite being told that they would call me to schedule the installation. One thing I found really annoying was that the company would call me a couple of times either on the week of the scheduled installation or on the same day to see if I could change my schedule to meet them earlier in the day. They may think this is providing convenience to a customer, but as a customer I found it very irritating and questioned who was serving whom.

We had a great experience with them. They were very professional. They measured and did the job well. It is specialty glass, but it isn?t that special. It just had to be cut and put into place. It had broken before, and it had cost more then. They were good and not many other people would have done it. I am satisfied with them.

After agreeing on the job & details, Glass Doctor comes out and removes your old glass. THEN they measure for the new glass (so there are no surprises of crevices, etc hidden by the old glass). Since everything is custom made--you're then without a usable shower for at least 2 weeks until the new glass gets delivered. After installation, you still need to wait another 2 days to ensure everything is dry & bonded. They did a good job with minimal mess. They were punctual and professional in getting the job done (both in the initial visit to remove the old glass and in the followup visit to install the new glass). My old shower glass (12 yrs old) was getting corroded-looking & I was having problems with mold because of caulking that was wearing away--so the new shower is awesome in that it makes doing a good job cleaning just so much easier. Also, because it is semi-frameless (glass to glass on the corners), it lets a lot more light in the shower. We also moved out one of the panels about 3 inches and increased the height of all the panels about 5 inches. With the extra room & additional glass (less framing), it makes the shower seem a LOT larger than before--which is great!

The technician seemed like he was working and doing a good job. I went out to the truck when he was replacing the window and went back in the house as he started vacuuming. He came to the door when he finished and said it would be a good idea to go to a car wash with a strong vacuum to get up any really small pieces he might have missed and to be sure to wear gloves because I might not see the little pieces. He left then I locked up the house and went out to the truck to go to the car wash. There was glass everywhere! Under the truck, all over the bed of the truck, the dashboard the seats and floor of the truck. I called right away and the company said they would tell him to call me. Well, he did not call and so I called back three more times and each time they said he is tying to call you. I was on my cell phone and he was to call on my home phone. He was not calling. They gave me his cell phone and I called him and had to leave a message and reminded him to call me and once again gave him my home phone. He just got to the office and they had him call me. He said he was sorry that he didn't get all the glass and he wanted to come out tomorrow. I said "no - come back now" and he is going to come back...hopefully.

A window needed replaced when my house was broken into. I called the Glass Doctor at 8:30 am. They said they'd send someone out right away. They arrived at 9:30 and were done at 10:30. I called several other companies and this was the fastest service. They did a great job and were very friendly on top of getting the job done immediately.
