FIVE SEASONS LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT INC

I would not recommend doing business with this company. They admittedly used my address by mistake on a work order. We have never ordered any services from Five Seasons. However, they trespassed onto my property unannounced and processed to irrevocably altered six mature trees. They have been rude, defensive, and condescending. All we want is fair compensation for our losses. The company is downplaying what happened and refuses to reasonably negotiate a fair settlement.

Do not deal with this company. Five Seasons knowingly laid the wrong pavers in our driveway, walkway, and front porch and kept this information from us. We had ordered Unilock LIMESTONE pavers---and they laid Unilock SIERRA pavers. They also spilled mortar all over our walkway and front porch. The pavers that were laid looked like the limestone sample we had ordered. It was not until a little over a year later--after the pavers had weathered, and changed colors to orange and yellow--that we realized these were not the pavers we had ordered. The mortar spilled all over the pavers also did not show up until the pavers weathered over a year later. BBB would not let us file a complaint because the one year time limit is up. We want to warn potential customers to not deal with this company. We tried for a year to negotiate some kind of satisfactory resolution, which proved fruitless. We are out approximately $25,000.00 as we have to replace the driveway, walkway, and front porch. Even if we had ordered the Sierra pavers, there is mortar spilled all over them---which cannot be removed.

When Five Seasons laid the new sod in our yard, there were clumps of fescue in almost every piece of sod. We brought this to their attention, and Mike Moulton assured us that it was a special kind of fescue that would make the grass very healthy and keep out the weeds.One year later our lawn was totally taken over by this "special fescue"--the worst kind of invasive weed. When we brought this to their attention, they did not respond.We ended up having to pay another company to tear up the lawn and lay new sod. Five Seasons also laid our paver stone driveway, walkway and porch.When the driveway was laid, it looked like the grey and brown samples we had selected. One year later, after all the pavers had weathered--and turned yellow and orange--we realized these were not the pavers we had ordered. The weathering of the pavers also enabled us to see all of the mortar that had been dripped all over our walkway and front porch. I contacted Mike Moulton and he acted like he did not know what was wrong. I then had to contact the UNILOCK REPS who came to our home and told us the pavers were not the pavers we had ordered. The UNILOCK REPS also told us there was no way to remove the mortar that was splattered all over the walkway and front porch. After this visit, Mike Moulton finally admitted in an email to me that he had known when the pavers were starting to be laid, that they were not the pavers we had ordered. He withheld that information from us and completed the job. When the pavers were first laid, the pavers were brown and grey, and there was no way we could have known they were not the pavers we had ordered. It was only after they had weathered that we knew something was wrong. In the past year, we have tried to negotiate with this company. It will cost us approximately $25,000.00 to have the driveway, walkway, and porch re done. Five Seasons has offered to have us pay them again for re doing the job with a 50% discount on the labor. There is no way we would ever let anyone from Five Seasons do anything for us again. Five Seasons lied to us. Five Seasons withheld information from us. Five Seasons spilled mortar--that cannot be removed--all over our walkway and front porch. (I have saved all of the emails from Mike Moulton admitting all of this)

I think I told you in first comment what they did, Adam was the head person at the house, so good to work with him.
Mike Moulton headed the whole thing, from drawing it up to picking all the trees and plants out, to coming out to check on progress all the time. Great job

Workers arrived on time as scheduled.  Promptly completed the installation and left the area in good order.  One of the most important issues in any mulching job is that enough mulch is spread, but not too much.  We were looking for about 2 inches of mulch everywhere and that's what we got.

He never responded after the initial meeting. When he did respond later, we had already chosen someone.

Workers arrived promptly and spread the mulch in about 3.5 hours (with no smoke breaks).  The leader explained what they would do prior to starting.  The leader and helper were friendly and answered my questions.  The price charged was 30% less expensive than a similar service by another company in 2011, which did not include my side beds.

There was nothing spectacular.  It was all routine and therefore completely unmemorable.  we have no complaints.

never showed up for appointment.  never returned my calls afterward to see what happened and if they were ever going to show up.  Just gave up calling and leaving messages.

We had a very good experience with them. I guess their price was average. The quality of work is good and the end product is good. The people who come out to work is excellent and very responsive to questions.

Contacted company via email for an estiamte. They finally returned my call, after week to 10 days and set up appointment. They did come and look over what work we wanted done. But there was no follow up and we never got an estimate from them. It's prime landscape time and we could not wait. After two weeks of waiting, we went with someone else.

It was very good. They took the time to listen to us and develop a design that we were looking for. They got us on the schedule very quickly. they arrived on time and completed the work when promised with an outstanding result.

This company is willing to work with the customer. At first they mowed our lawn with large mowers and always the same way. The lawn wasn't looking very well so we told them about it. They now mow our lawn with small hand mowers and in different directions. They listen to the customers concerns and are willing to address those concerns. I feel that they are fair priced for the amount of edging that they do for us. The district manager follows up on the concerns of the customer.

They do excellent work and are very reliable. They tore out the old patio, built the a new one and did the landscaping around it. We are very happy with their work and will use them again.

I WORK WITH THEM IN TWO CAPACITIES: ONE AS A TRUSTEE AND THE OTHER AS A RESIDENT.

VERY SATISFIED WITH DESIGN AND INSTALLATION. WORKERS WERE VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE LAWN. CLEANED UP NICELY. MIKE MOULTON, SALES, ALSO EXCELLENT.

AFTER THREE TRIES, THE SUPERVISOR HAD TO FINISH THE JOB. INTENTIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS WERE GREAT. BUT THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT AND PLANTINGS WERE POOR. 18 OF THE 21 PIECES WERE DEAD OR DYING.
