DUCTMAN

Ductman did a bad job. They were here for only 30 to 45 minutes and they charged me $900 for it. They came to fix the main lines and they only had 4 main lines in their form so they definitely overcharged. They charge so much and they do not do much for you. They made me do 8 vents because I called them and they said they would charge me 8 vents regardless since it said that on their advertisement. The punctuality was fine.

I was told they would arrive between 8 - 10 AM. I was ready at 8. Matt called me at 8:15 and confirmed my address. They were at my home at 8:20. Matt and Vince were very polite, very nice. After a tour of the home, work began. While Matt and I discussed how to proceed after finding mold near the heat register, Vince was vaccuming and cleaning the ductwork upstairs. Although the price was high, when dealing with Mold (that we did not plan for) you really have no choice to pay it right then and get it cleaned. Thankfully, Ductman can do that. They pointed out problems with the ductwork and that I corrected after they left. My house felt the most consistent temperature ever last night. Thank you so much to Ductman.

I had another company clean the ducts when I first moved in and it was a major production. The next year, I saw an ad for Ductman and the price that they advertised was the price that they charge. When Ductman came in the first time, they sucked a ton of stuff out of my air ducts; these things had been in there for years and years and obviously the other company is not as good as Ductman. Their system is very streamlined and every time they come, they've pulled something out that I haven't seen in a long time. They've been nice about cleaning rugs and stairs. I'm not sure about price, but I think they are average to lower than average.

The service man arrived on time, examined the house counting the number of vents and examined the furnace. Provided the estimated price and I accepted the work. I have a vent in my laundry room and while moving the dryer to clean the vent the service man damaged my dryer but didn't say anything. The damage was hidden behind a laundry basket on top of the dryer and was not found until after after they had left. When I contacted the company to report the damage was when I noticed the disclaimer in the very small print on the estimate/bill that by signing you agree that the Ductman company is not liable for any damages to your premises. I cost me an additional $168.88 to repair my dryer as the end caps were completely broken.

I called to schedule service and they could not schedule me for 2 weeks. The guys came out on a Tuesday and arrived prior to their schedule time (which was OK because someone from the company called to warn me that they would be early). I had a coupon that stated a certain number of ducts would be cleaned for $79.00. But what they don't tell you in the advertisements is that they also have to clean three different parts of the furnace, spray stuff, etc., and all of that costs a LOT of extra money. Also, once they were at my house they kept coming up and saying, "Hey you really need this, which costs XXX dollars extra." I drew the line at having a UVA light installed on my furnace. It was significantly more expensive than I'd been led to believe and they did not clean up after themselves after all. They did not put all the registers back on, did not replace childproof electrical outlet plugs, left a trail of goo all over my floors, did not turn off my outside hose (which they used without asking).

I thought they did a really good job and I thought their work was very good. They were very careful and good about cleaning around the vents afterwards.

They didn't even clean anything up after themselves. They said they had a video for proof but wouldn't even provide the video later. They wouldn't follow up and my dad called the owner and they did nothing. They weren't even that nice or courteous. My mom said they were very gruff, and would say, "get out of my way."

The advertising they made was not clear to me, I though that they would be cleaning the air ducts, furnace, and main line, which was not true. I called to make a complaint, but they seemed inattentive about it. Otherwise the job that they did was pretty good.

They were very knowledgeable. The workmen were extremely friendly. They were really professional and easy to work with. I was very satisfied with the service they provided.

They recommended the mold killing filter and my husband and I agreed with it. If somebody asked me about the company I would definitely say to call them. They gave a time frame of when they would call, they gave us a heads up if they were going to be late. They did a really good job.

I was very pleased with the service and the effect of the service. The representative came in and went through the house with me to ensure full count of all ducts/returns, and explained the full recommended service. The price was higher than I expected, because the coupon only represented part of the needed work (included one main line and there is a main line for both ducts and returns that I needed done). But the price information was clearly discussed with me ahead of time, and I fully agreed to the scope of work. Also I asked about a discount for Angie's List, and was provided some discount in addition to the coupon from the local paper. The representative did a thorough job and was courteous throughout. I was pleased with the company, and pleased with the results.

This company is top notch. They confirmed the appointment, came out as scheduled, walked me through the work they were going to do and then asked if I had any questions. Their technicians were friendly and let me watch what they were doing. They got the job done as promised and were courteous and professional in the process. Thanks much to Andrew and Tony.
