Columbus Driving Academy

Overall a positive experience; my daughter passed her driving test on the first try. Positives: Online classroom course, Home pick-up for in-car instruction, instructor was knowledgeable, lent us cones for maneuverability practice, received certificate quickly by mail after completion. Negatives: had to enroll in person at Reynoldsburg office, in-car scheduling had to be done 2 months in advance.

Randy Simpson was the instructor who came to our home. He was very professional and always on time. He did an amazing job of engaging her and securing her trust. He was very positive and seemed to adjust his training technique to fit her needs.Also, he did a great job of teaching her how to maneuver and how to drive. The results were that she got her license today after four lessons. Thanks again Randy!

I had a great experience with them. They started the classes on time and they had convenient times to take the classes.

As expected. I was able to get the in classes and in car lessons completed within 6 weeks this summer- other companies were unable to begin in car lessons till the end of summer- after my son was to leave for school. Had a coupon to $50 off, too.

She passed the test tge first time. We only used the school for the in car, so because of that tge school would not let me use the Angie's list discount.

Great, instructors were knowledgeable and friendly.

The classes were easy to schedule and we could select the order we wanted to take them. We could do it in as little as two weeks or stretch it out over a longer time. The driving portion was very good. My sons driver was always prompt, professional and gave lots of good feedback on his driving

This is my third teenager to learn through Columbus Driving Academy. The in- class sessions work very well with a busy schedule as you can attend in any order. You can also pick up a class in another location also. The in- car instruction is great. John was the in-car instructor for two of my teenagers (most recent). They thought he did a great job teaching them what they needed to know. They felt confident.

Pretty good experience. They were good. They were really knowledgeable in terms of the content that my wife needed to learn and pass the test.

Like most driving schools, you could drop in any class and take them at your pace.  My son was able to finish all of his classes in a 2 week time period.  We set up the first in car through the main office and then the instructor set up all the other lessons and seem to follow a good plan for what she wanted him to accomplish or where he should go with each class and completed a "grade card" after each in car to tell what he was doing good or bad and what he needed to work on.

the lessons went well.  She had in-class and driving lessons both.  The driving instructor was very nice.  Everything went according to plan and we are pleased with the outcome.

We (my wife and I, and our daughter) were very happy with Columbus Driving Academy.  Although I obviously didn't participate in the classes or driving sessions, the instructors always were personable and very willing to answer all questions we had throughout the course, and all class sessions and driving sessions started and ended on time.  Because our family life is hectic, it was good to have the ability to attend classes at different times and on different days, and even at different locations.  Although we took advantage of this only once, it was nice to have the option available.  Additionally, our daughter passed her state driving test on her first attempt, which -- based on the driving test results of some of her high school classmates (none of whom attended Columbus Driving Academy) -- apparently isn't incredibly common.  When our son gets his learner's permit in 2 years, he will attend Columbus Driving Academy also.

Everything went great! They were very thorough!
