Another person (a pleasant fellow) showed up the next day with a bucket of grass seed and no straw, I told him he'd be feeding the birds rather than actually repairing the damaged areas. That was two weeks ago with three good rains and alll the damaged areas are still bare dirt. And nothing has sprouted on the the difficult lawn areas and that's absolutely no surprise to me.
Having already spent $350 earlier in the year with Portage Turf for three fertilizer and weed control treatments and now another $459 I've invested $809 in our yard in 2015 and it looks worse than what we began with. The only conclusions I can come to is that Portage Turf's new fangled aeration machine is ill-suited for residential lawns and our yard is an experiment gone awry.
I gave Brian an opportunity to resolve his problem and he chose not to do so, WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPENSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT.
