He charged me $134000.00 dollars for an additon to my home, that was quoted as 155;000.00 . Leaving me with just a shell. No entry to addition from the house,only a French door entry with shoddy dangeros steps. Left live wire in addition after proceeding to to tear out wall,without warning,braking items in kitchen There was no means to heat that area in March at that time.. Being vindictive after refusing to let him hire contractors who were uncertified to do electrical work. This man is a criminal. Nothing he has done has passed any inspections. If this man wants to do your project be sure to reject. I have been stolen from,with a disabled husband. Please reject any business with man, His reviews are fake,as well as his subcontractors.Mr. Hendersonâ  s practices are criminal . Previous business was New Image Designs.

Please do not use this contractor. He will mess up the draw schedule and act like it is an accident. Before you know it he has way more money than he should. He wonâ t finish your project properly. He will say things are out of scope but not hold a design review. And in fact doesnâ t even finish those things he deems are out of scope. We are almost a year overdue. He lets permits expire (you only have 30 days to renew). He doesnâ t follow up on failed inspections. He will stop communicating and come up with every excuse in the book on why he canâ t be at your project. Only shows up for a check. He will make you communicate with the subs. He doesnâ t pay his subs. We are now left scrambling to find out how to extend a permit, fix a failed inspection (that we are just now finding out about 10 months after failing), and to complete our project solely on our own.

We hired this contractor (Rob) to put an addition on our home. We sent a check for 25% of total estimated project in the mail. He said he didnâ t receive the check and he was about to go pull permits, so would we mind writing another and heâ d pick it up. We agreed. He picked up and cashed the second check. He then was unable to pull a permit bc of issues with a previous project. He received our second check in the mail and had the audacity to ask if he could cash that too, stating he normally requires more up front, but just â forgotâ to change the contract. Rob then said that would would not need new footers for our addition, but after pointing out there would be stability and moisture control issues, he still denied needing footers but would get his â concrete guyâ in to look at it. He told us on two different occasions this concrete guy was coming to look at our project, and he never showed, which was followed up by and excuse of â heâ s out of the country this weekâ . After multiple attempts to work with this gentleman, we agreed it wasnâ t in our best interest, and messaged him that we didnâ t want to do business any longer. He said â I was going to send you your money back anywaysâ and stated we would have a refund check the next week. It has been two full weeks and we have not seen our money back. This man does not know what heâ s talking about and constantly gives you the run around for simple questions. He was trying to make a quick buck, and whenever he was questioned he came up with some excuse. Still waiting for our money Rob!!

We started our project a good while before work began, since we needed to go through various local processes (arb, bza, etc.) to get our project approved. Robert has been patient and supportive from the start, and was present and directly involved at every step of the way. We started with an assessment with an architect, who drew plans we loved. After completing the various government hurdles, we've experienced nothing but high quality work completed by experienced tradesman. Communication along the way has left nothing to the imagination. Updates and expectations have been consistently set and met. Our project is on track to complete on budget, and the results speak for themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to hire New Design Image Group again for any future needs we have.

Do not recommend it. Would never use it again. We finished our interior. Thankfully, he paid us back for most of it. But it has still been a year and a half of unfulfilled promises, unfinished work (we are currently working on the last project ourselves), and an unpaid HVAC bill from where we had to have someone else correct his work.

My wife and I found working with Robert was much easier than previous contractors and builders. He was readily available and when the work started it was all to our liiking. He was very honest With our decisions and helpful to create a better experience. We have not had any positive builders in the past And were always uneasy, but We weren't one bit with Robert. Every single one of his sub contractors are awesome. If a problem popped up Robert was quick to fix it or get the problem addressed ASAP. Hour edition started medium But by the end of the project it became fairly large. We added and changed a lot of things and Robert rolled with the punches and delivered everything my wife and I wanted and more. Great, phenomenal work, we loved all the people that did our new laundry room - addition to the home. The floor, which we had him install wood, is absolutely gorgeous. He was also fantastic with the city offices and getting necessary permits and ensuring everything was to code. They were respectful of our home while doing the work being as careful and clean as possible. Our neighbors and friends are really impressed with how great this addition turned out. I highly recommend without hesitation.

They performed their work as we agreed upon, in a timely manner, in a professional way, and at a fair price. It was quality craftsmanship.

Last year my wife and I decided to remodel our kitchen and since neither of us is skilled handymen we searched around for someone who was. After meeting with a few people we would contact online, the price quotes we received seemed pretty high. We even considered giving it a go ourselves and I was really excited for *demo day* after watching too much Home design channels on tv. Long story short I am at lunch one day and meet Robert from New Design Image Group. We get to chatting and I tell him about our project. He gave me a card and said he would be happy to come by and take a look. I called him a few days later, luckily before I took a sledge to walls, he came over that same day, looked under and behind some of my cabinets, laughed and asked if I was going to knock them out. He explained that I could simply unscrew some of them and avoid any collateral damage to the wall. So, no demo for me. We decided to hire him pretty much on the spot. My wife gave him some crude drawings of our ultimate goal and a week later he would produce very detailed plans for our remodel. We purchased our new cabinets, dishwasher and sink and Roberts installers put it all together for us with ease. I would definitely recommend Robert and New Design Image Group for remodels or whatever other home improvement project you may be dreaming of!

Working with Robert has been a pleasure. They put on an 1,100 square foot in-law suite for us and remodeled our basement. They are also currently working on another project for a relative of mine. I had several people come out before I decided on New Design Image Group, but they were quite costly. Robert was more than willing to negotiate a fair price with my wife and I. We love the work they have done on our home and we definitely recommend them!

Robert H. owner has had several failed businesses and a long list of lawsuits filed against him related to building and remodeling companies. Check out the Portage and Summit County (Ohio) courthouse records (free search on the internet) for Robert H. before going further. Even the first 3 "independent" reviews on this site were all made in the same day. I would really question the authenticity of the other reviews. Robert told us we're wasting our time trying to take him to court because his company has no assets and he personally has nothing in his name so we'll never get anything. He did offer to finish the project if we paid him to redo everything again. We lost over $60K because of his negligence and poor quality work. Do your homework first. We wish we would have. :-(

Robert was very professional from the quote process all the way to the end of the project. Always was available for discussion and treated my questions respectfully. We had a small project, converted an unused porch to a pantry, but received the same respect as if we were doing a large project like he frequently does. His carpenters Mike and Jeff were always pleasant and cleaned up at the end of the day. They listened to my thoughts and suggestions and implemented them when it made sense. This is a great team and I would not hesitate to use them or recommend them to family.

You can read any business review and get a good idea of what you are in for. I made contact with a few different builders and some called me back some didn't. What I ran into mostly was them wanting plans drown up before they could give me an estimate. Robert from New Design Image Group was the only one that came out to look at my house and give me a quote before I had plans. Robert himself is extremely easy to work with and talk to, we had him out to give us a quote on an addition but after doing research with the city we were unable to make it work. So we ended up going a completely different direction and again asked Robert to come out, he was more than happy to and gave us a very good quote for the work we wanted, plus had some good ideas for our project that could only come from years of experience. He had a list of references (other contractors I had to ask for a list) my wife and I went to 1 project site and I called a couple others. The one thing you run into when having a contractor is the sub-contractors that they hire. In this case the sub-contractors are an extension of Robert's niceness. They were prompt and all very easy going, I had a couple small things I asked each one to do for me and they did it with no problem ( I didn't get crazy with my requests, I kept them simple). You can tell that they enjoy working for Robert and he keeps them busy. I don't know that I ever want to go through the experience of a "fixer upper" again? But if I ever do Robert will be my first and only call. I am already in the process of planning a couple more projects that he could complete for me next year. I would highly recommend New Design Image Group to anyone and everyone and I welcome any call from a potential client of theirs.

The company was professional, listened to all of our concerns and did a good job. The bright, open feeling when you walk into the addition was what made it all worth it.

Robert is very fair and nice to work with. He usually responds within a few minutes when we have questions. All the people he had working for him were friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is the time its taken. We were hoping to have the project completed sooner, but, due to the high demand in building projects, ours seemed to take longer than it should have.

So excited for Robert to renovate my house! He was prompt and very up front with the plans. That is very hard to find when meeting with different contractors! :)
