About us

A & L Garage Door Service is a small family business. Art Wampler(owner/installer/service tech) does all his own work. Our motto:TALK TO THE OWNER...THEN WATCH HIM WORK. Art has 16 1/2 years garage door experience with the last 6 years being his own business. He doesn't use subcontractors. Our service call is $59.00 which gives you 1/2 hour of his time. Extension springs (8'wide or 9'wide door) $115.00 Torsion springs (8'wide or 9'wide door) $115.00 Torsion springs (15'wide or 16'wide door) $189.00 We offer free estimates on new doors. Verbal estimates over the phone for repairs with a few details about your door problems.

Services we offer

New door packages, and anything pertaining to garage doors and openers. All 15' and 16' wide new door packages we upgrade with an extra strut (stabilizer bar), door repair, extension spring replacement with emergency cables, new opener systems, opener repair, steel rollers and slightly upgraded springs. A & L offers keyed locks and emergency key releases for your garage doors and keypads for your opener systems., torsion spring replacement, transmitter replacement

We had searched many big named companies and could not believe the prices. Luckily we found A&L's number and from the first phone call they were personable and professional. A&L's prices beat all the rest and we couldn't ask for better service.

After I called and left a message on the company answering machine, Art came to the house promptly to give an estimate. He made a separate trip back to the house a few weeks later to drop off color chips. When I asked for examples of his work, his wife Sonya gave me half a dozen addresses of his customers who had purchased garage doors similar in style to the one that I was interested in so I was able to drive around and see real installations. Art and Sonya worked around my schedule to install the door on a weekend. They were clean and efficient. After the job was done, Art took the time to explain how the door was interacting with my settling concrete and old garage door opener; and how to resolve any minor adjustment issues myself if I wanted, but to call him right away if anything happened that I was not happy with.
