John and his crew were wonderful. The formerly heavy-wooded area to be graded and hydroseeded for new grass lawn was pretty rough still, with many exposed roots and other materials on the ground. I had several other quotes, and John beat the nearest competitor (comparable bid; received others but could tell that it wasn't going to be the end-result I was looking for) by roughly 30%. He showed up on the day promised, and when I went home at lunch to see how progress was coming, I was smiling ear to ear. He told me that when he was done with it, it would look like a baseball field in terms of perfection and smoothness; I thought at the time of the quote that he was just selling me, but in fact that is the exact result he delivered. Now, 2 months later following a dramatic deterioration in the weather immediately following the service (weather has finally become Spring-like in last couple weeks), the lawn looks almost as thick as what's been growing for years. I suspect it will only get better and better as the growing season progresses. Extremely happy with the end result, feel that the value provided was exceptional, and am happy to recommend John for anything. He takes sincere pride in his work, and will not leave your site until it is up to his standards. He even came back as a follow-up a couple weeks back and applied more starter fertilizer to really help things "pop". From my perspective, this was unexpected and above and beyond. What stands out is the price, which was a good price and the overall service. I knew he was busy so it took a while for us once we agreed to get it done.

It started out ok.  I thought we'd have a good working relationship.  the responsiveness was horrible.  They didn't come when they said they would.  It was awful.  They did give me a refund though which was good.

My husband saw them working in our development and stopped to ask the foreman if they would have time to cut down a dead tree in our yard.  The crew came over when they were finished with their other job the same day and had that tree out of there in 15 min. They did a great job cleaning up and even blew off debris from our driveway that had fallen from the tree. This chance meeting worked out great for us. We will surely use this company again.

They do a good job. They are prompt and a very good company. They explain about the things they use and what might be dangerous. I have used them for many years. I rate them high overall.

Excellent! John is extremely competant, capable and fair. His folks are fast and efficient. They did this work in minutes, as opposed to hours or days, like others I have used for similar work. They left the house in great condition...often laying dirt and mulch can be messy - the yard looked great! He really knows this busines and takes pride in his and his folks work!
