ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! BEWARE OF DREW! All should know that this is NOT a true Verizon store and as such you should be forewarned that Verizon can do little to help you if you buy from them. My bullet-point experience is noted below. · Entered store to 4 very lifeless sales folks who did not greet me. · Had the misfortune of walking up to Drew for help. · He proceeded to ?take my order? with no explanation as to how to operate the new phone. (I went from a flip phone to a Smart phone.) · I asked how to turn on the phone and how to unlock the screen. There was no other explanation given at all and I felt like I was keeping him something more important. My understanding is that the associates are to spend time with the customers familiarizing them with the new phone. Drew clearly missed that day in training. · I was informed of a 14 day return policy should I not like the phone for any reason. · I was NOT informed that there would be a $50.00 restocking fee if I decided to return the phone. That must have been covered on the day that Drew missed as well. · I never signed any contract nor were any terms and conditions given to me. I simply signed the credit card receipt - another miss by Drew. · After an evening of trying to make the phone function, I made the decision to return it to the store. · I was THEN informed of the $50.00 restocking fee. · I called Verizon for help in getting my money back and the best that they could do was to give me the difference between what they would charge in one of their store ($35.00) and what I was charged in this store ($50.00). The nice woman that I spoke with over the phone tried to reach out to the store to have them call her back within literally 5 minutes of my leaving. I called from the parking lot. There were 5 associates available with on customers yet no one could be bothered to take her call. It was an exercise in frustration for her as well. Needless to say, I took my $15.00 and ran. · I asked customer care representative for the name of the regional manager over the store and since it is not a corporate owned store she was not able to give me that name. I did work through another store manager who informed the regional manager of my situation however I never received a call from him / her. I was offered an in-store credit by the regional manager through the store manager. I indicated that I simply wanted to be made whole and get my $50.00 back. I never received a follow-up call from anyone after that. I have been a Verizon customer for more years than I can remember and overall my experience has been positive but I have to say that Verizon should think twice about having their reputation ruined by a store and leadership who clearly are concerned with pushing widgets and NOT doing the right thing for the customer. I have to believe that my experience is not unique at this particular store. My hope is that my experience helps others avoid this very unpleasant experience.
Description of Work: Provided exceptionally poor service when selling 2 cellular phone. Failed to educate on the use of the phones. Failed to disclose fees. It was a miserable experience.
