Tom tuned our piano about 8 years ago and we have moved twice since then with no tuning so we were long overdue. I had lost his contact information and was happy to find him on Angie's List. He was very flexible in scheduling as indexed an evening appointment and was understanding when I had to reschedule t the last minute due to illness. Tom arrived promptly for the appointment and quickly assessed the piano and worked on tuning it, he was done in about an hour and had it back in tune. He w able to fix a few of our sticking keys, but recommended we consider having the mechanism looked at because some of the keys stick pretty badly in the upper range, and offered to refer us to someone who can do this, as he no longer performs that service, Tom was professional, pleasant and prompt and I highly recommend him!

Mr. Ruff has a flexible schedule and gave me an evening appointment which was helpful with my work schedule. He was on time and professional. He was probably here working on the piano for nearly 2 hours (it had not been tuned in 10+ years).  It sounded great when he was done, and he took some extra time to look into a problem with a pedal that was there when we bought the piano. I think the price is fair for the time he spends doing his work. We will call him again.

This is the second time we've called Mr. Ruff and have been impressed both times. He is prompt, professional, thorough, and is willing to go the extra mile. We feel we got more than what we paid for and will definitely be calling him again.

I called them on a Monday and my wife was out of town. I wanted to have the piano done as a gift for her before she came back on Thursday. They were able to get it done before that time, and I thought it was great. He called and was able to come early. He was professional. I thought the price was more than fair. The piano sounds great. I would use them again.

Went very well, exactly as described. Tom was very friendly and informative, and I plan on having him tune the piano in the future. Arrived on time, and took about an hour to complete the work.

Found Thomas at top of Angie's List rankings, and deservedly so. He actually answered the phone directly when I initially called him (shocking anymore, isn't it?), and we scheduled a time right then. He called the morning of the scheduled service to confirm, arrived on time (a little early even), went right to work, and was in and out in 75 minutes or so. Thomas is a very nice gentleman, great to chat with about the instrument, and provided tips regarding on-going maintenance. I will definitely use his services again. Thanks, Thomas.
