STORK DECOR & MORE INC

Description of Work: I ordered yard decor for a friend's 50th birthday party. I spoke at length with Brian on the phone detailing what I wanted and the cost, set-up time, etc. He confirmed my order. The day of the party, they never showed up. The decor was to arrive by midday, and when nothing was there, I called repeatedly and left a message. He never returned my call. On Monday, I called again, and he told me he was sorry, and they had missed another event, as well (I don't know if he thought that would make me feel better?). I asked if he had gotten my message, and he said, "Yes, but I was at the pool, and I thought it was too late to call back anyway." He blamed the problem on the driver; however my credit card was never charged, leading me to believe that he never placed the order. In addition, when I said how disappointed I was, he offered to give me half off another yard display. Half off! The disappointment coupled with the frustration of not being able to have my phone call returned spoiled my whole evening. When I scoffed at the half-off order, he asked what I wanted. I told him certainly a free yard sign was in order another time, and he agreed but never asked for my information or bothered to apologize again. I do not intend to ever contact the company again but was incensed at the half-off suggestion and complete lack of professionalism. Both times I called him, he just answered the phone, "This is Brian," and I had to inquire if I had the correct number for "Stork Decor and More." The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope that with all the graduation celebrations going on this time of year that more people don't have their special day ruined by this company.

Description of Work: I HAD A COW DISPLAY SET UP IN MY YARD FOR SON'S 18TH BIRTHDAY. DISPLAY WAS 20 PLASTIC COWS AND A SIGN. IT WAS GREAT, BROUGHT A LOT OF TRAFFIC TO A STOP!
